“So you’re saying the Republican party shouldn’t accept new members?”
I’m saying it shouldn’t accept leftist members. We have enough of those already and need to thin some out.

After hearing what Mr. Paul said in the debate the other night, I’d rather vote for Hillary. At least I’d be voting for the real deal and not one with an R before his name.
To: PlainOleAmerican
If Ron Paul were really all that, his supporters wouldn’t have to lie, cheat, and steal to get him traction.

Imagine the horror if people were changing their registration to vote for Fred Thompson.

They can try all the want, but there are not enough of them to cause a ripple in the water, even in the Republican primaries.

The only important difference between Nazi-ism, Fascism, Communism, Socialism and Liberalism is the spelling, and that the last group hasn’t got the brains to figure it out.

These stories are sounding more and more like the Lyndon LaRouche crowd has taken over his Public Relations....as well as his public restrooms.

He didn’t like that very much. I don’t imagine he’ll be voting for Duncan Hunter any time soon.

BS - He lost because the Republican party is weak, lacks leadership and have been reduced to frightened little school boys. Man you are so full of it..... Face it pal, the republican party has nothing left but panty waists and cowards.
Sorry Jack, that just had to be said again.

I can see why a classic liberal would be attracted to Paul's libertarian stances, but not necessarily his "classic conservative" ones. The philosophies are much closer than the modern definitions allow for, I'll grant that, but I just find it an odd statement, like you are trying to pull the conservative label instead of just using the libertarian one.
There maybe more to it, I am rusty on the details, it just tripped my odd-o- meter, that's all.

And your answer is to support a candidate bringing people to the far left of these folks over to your party?

Here is an idea for a Ron Paul bumper sticker.
