A good chance to see Ron outside the debate format. Not good.

Now I hope the paulites will stop the Fred bashing threads on here. Those were getting really shameful.

I watched it. We had a purge of RudyBots here a couple months ago. I believe the same applies with supporters of this nut-bag.

Him and his supporters are better equipped to go to Kos and DU.

lucid and on point? I am glad to know you are joking because the only point he was on was DNC talking points.

At least your sense of humor is intact. Ron Paul is on the wrong ticket. It’s kinda confusing.

So where did I read Thompson said they are over here because smoking is banned over there? Something to that effect. I don’t see people talking him down. Again I am not supporting RP.

I’m not a Thompson fan either. And, yes, I thought that was kind of goofy.

Well some of us don't get our information spoon fed from Fox until we're whipped up into a frenzy of fear. Dr. Paul's statement on blowback is based on history. He's not saying the terrorists were right, he's not saying he agreed with the SOBs, but the point is they were mad, and it wasn't at our 'freedoms' or whatever catchphrase Sean Hannity happens to be using today.

I thought 'this blowback principle' is what caused the stain on the blue dress...hmmmm.

Dan Rather vacating his position under klintoon's desk is what caused the stain on the blue dress.

Can we take this as your ‘welcome back home’ moment?

Nope, my vote goes to Paul in the primaries because all of his other stands (2nd amendment, border security, strong national defense, taxes and spending, pro-life on abortion) far outweigh his foreign policy, as no matter who's president the war on terrorism will have to be addressed anyway. And Paul will still be better as CIC than all the Democrats and Rudy/Romney/Huckabee combined.

But my participation on the Paul threads will decrease. I'm not going to waste my time engaging in circular arguments and looking at the same-old cheesy photo-shopped pics of Paul and such. But unlike the thousands of Paul grassroots supporters (you know, the folks that the GOP trashes but needs in order to win the general) I'm not going to support Paul as a 3rd party or independent candidate. I'll support whoever the GOP nominee is as long as it's Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter.

Hope the video turns up somewhere; I got a phone call and missed the whole segment.

Was it even more entertaining than last week's debate performance?

Well I missed it, but from the thread it sounds like Paul met expectations. Confirmed nut job. His supporters should stay as lite entertainment, but come on...

He said the smoking ban in Anbar put in place by Al-Quaida sent the tribes over the top. That may have “some” truth to it. These people want freedom, they just need to learn how to protect it.
