Another scary story about globalism. The London Times reports that Russia's Gazprom, the state owned gas company, is trying to outbid Rupert Murdoch in purchasing the Wall Street Journal, owned by Dow Jones. Can you imagine Russia dictating the editorial policy of the Wall Street Journal? I'm sure this would be every globalists utopia and every patriots nightmare.
Globalists seem to think that foreign powers buying up everything in the United States is a great thing that will usher in a world of peace where everyone will be too busy buying and selling instead of fighting. Yeah right! This is CFR madness. Instead of peace we are witnessing an orgy of mechantilism and greed which will be followed by a government which will be owned by special interests from around the globe. This is NOT free enterprise. This is the loss of our sovereignty. Will will not even own our own government. The foreign owned lobbyists will be dictating the policies of Washington. This is the worst kind of foreign entanglement.
I thought the Murdoch deal was done.
No?
I thought Rupert Murdoch’s deal to purchase the Wall Streeet Journal was already approved.
Lefties would love it.
Y’know, if the Red Chinese bought up the NY Times, the paper would probably become more pro-capitalist.
Communists owning a pillar of Capitalism?
Call out the Irony Squad.
but what does gambling911.com say ?
“Yknow, if the Red Chinese bought up the NY Times, the paper would probably become more pro-capitalist”
ROTFLMAO!!
Interesting if true.
It is already a done deal... this is either old or pooty stirring the pot.
LLS
Murdoch is either in the process of buying or has already bought the Wall Street Journal but Russia was also bidding. There should be a law against this. Freedom of the press is our most precious right.
Along with Bush's New World Order corporate cronies.
Now, that would be funny. In a ‘my head is on fire’ “Jackass” kind of way.
From the article:
LONDON, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - State-controlled Russian gas giant Gazprom tried to outbid a $5-billion offer for The Wall Street Journal's publisher, Dow Jones & Co., from media giant News Corporation, The Times reported.
"If Gazprom had proceeded, it is thought highly unlikely that The Wall Street Journal would have been allowed to fall into the hands of a state-backed Russian company," the Times said.
Why shouldn’t they have the WSJ ... they already have the Slimes ... at least it would seem that way ...
Yes. I think this story is pure borscht.
No such word in the Merriam Webster Dictionary.
Will will not even own our own government. The foreign owned lobbyists will be dictating the policies of Washington.
The editorial board of a newspaper cannot control policy in Washington. Thank the Lord. Calm down.
Maybe we could convince them to buy MTV instead, and turn it back into Music Television. If it was as good as it was in the 1980s, it would make Russia incredible amounts of goodwill, more than tens of billions of dollars in propaganda.
