After the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Muslim immigrants were seen as a potential threat in the United States. They have since become model citizens -- and now they want a greater say in politics. Why shouldn't we wear head scarves?
It is almost 1 p.m., time for noon prayers, and Abdul Malik Mujahid, 55, is in his office on the second floor of Chicago's Downtown Islamic Center, preparing for his sermon. On his desk are a Koran, a pad of paper and a Blackberry. A telephone rings in the next room as people hurry through the corridors.
Soon Mujahid takes the elevator to the fourth floor, carrying the text of his sermon under his arm. The 200 men waiting for him in the prayer room are dressed in jeans and in suits. They have slipped away from their offices for lunch, removed their shoes and staked out their spots on the carpet. Now they want to hear Mujahid's Friday sermon.
He nods to the congregation. Mujahid is a short, elegant man. His gray beard is carefully trimmed and he has a smooth voice. He turns toward Mecca and recites the Fatiha, the opening Sura in the Koran. Then he quickly gets to his point: "My brothers, we can all contribute to reducing our energy consumption," he says. "That must be your very own jihad, your fight against global warming." When he speaks he sounds like Al Gore, the former vice president of the United States and the man who is now leading America in the battle against climate change. "This wonderful country," says Mujahid, "depends on its immigrants. Show that you are good Americans and good Muslims."

Yes, you are quite correct to express incredulity in regards to what I said, especially in lightof what has transpired since 9-11.
I meant to say they may have chosen sermon subject matter such as global warming for fear they might attract the attention of the government.
The most desirable answer to your question is, zero.

Apparently, the US military does not agree with your assessment. An education at West Point is paid for with taxpayer money, and paid back by mandatory military service.
If that group has a much larger effect that their numbers reflect- watch out. Tragically the real test, is one that would be enacted if this group became a majority. Even to some extent a much larger minority.
How would these persons THEN, behave toward non-muslims? There are virtually few instances where such people will still declare the multi-cultural dogma, that all cultures are equal.
We are seeing a lie. If the proof comes that it is a lie, then it will be too late.

To become a model American citizen, muslims must reject the koran, as it is a war manual that is directly at odds with a free people and a free will...
Jihadists commit hate crimes too.
Every act of domestic terrorism (and there have been dozens) was a hate crime.
Islamic supremacists engage in hate speech too.
I’ve seen more reports of hate crimes against Christians in this country too (especially vandalism of churches on 06/06/2006).
It is never discussed as a trend.
Why? Because we don’t have sand storms.

A month or so ago, I heard Stephen Emerson (Jihad In America) say
that The Holy Land trial should be on the front page of every newspaper.
And note that the wiretaps are the sort of thing the NYTimes, ACLU,
and our Islamic-Americans want to neuter.
AND, having read the well-reasearched (scholarly) “Alms of Jihad” last
year, I shuddered to see this virtually “press-embargoed” report.

So, of 4000 congressionally awarded appointments 32 are politically correct mistakes. 12 of those are ridiculous mistakes. Probably all lib-sponsored.
These 32 muslims are 32 potential/likely moles.
You actually think this is a good idea? If you do then repeat slavishly: "Islam is a religion of peace" until you convert or die.

I never said I thought it was a good idea. I was just pointing out that not only does the military make efforts to attract muslim soldiers, they recruit them to the highest level of service.
