Lost the ability to download cookies from Free Republic for quite some time. I'm back now.

I'd like to reconnect with the Stop Rudy list so I can ping 'em to combat the Rudophiles who are infiltrating FR again.

Anyone got the ping list?

Yeah, go, Hillary, go & bring your far-left judges for their lifetimes with you...

There is no reason to believe Giuliani will nominate anything but far-left judges like David Souter and John Paul Stevens. That is exactly what he did in New York.

With a shrinking Republican minority in the Senate that would result from a Giuliani Presidency, the Democrats would have complete control over the nomination process.

Do you actually know Giuliani’s foreign policy views or are you simply making things up?

Being the equivalent of a grief counselor after 9/11 and a NYC janitor before 9/11 doesn't qualify Rudy for President.

Rudy is an authoritarian and he'll trash your freedoms and liberties under the guise of "fighting terrorism."

The shrinking minority in the senate & house were formed well before there was a presidential gleam in Rudy's eyes...by the time your supposed long-term plan goes into effect, the court will be packed by Hillary & will remain liberal for decades...at that point feel free to admire your handiwork! ;-)

FYI, NapkinUser is no longer with us.

We have been able to reconstitute the STOP RUDY list (and you are on it).

I’ve freepmailed it to TitansAFC, so you should see things being pinged by him, or possibly a few others over the next few months.

“NapkinUser is no longer with us.”

I’m so sorry to hear that. He/she gave us a lot of info to stop Rudy.

Thanks for keeping me on the stopRudy list.

I agree with every single one of those quotes. especially supporting the NYPD over thugs, blowing up the school system run by union scum, we live in a nation of laws, im in favor of school uniforms, I would have no problem with DNA testing at birth, taking the cars of drug dealers, racial profiling makes sense especially post 9/11, and the rights over crappy sensationaliost artists are overblown.

Couldn't have said it better myself...I totally agree with you finnman69. I lived and worked in NYC when Rudy was Mayor and I know from experience that he was a great leader for the greatest city in the world....and that was prior to that evil and surreal day (that no one can understand quite the same way as we NYers who actually were there can) in September 2001.

Could you provide some more recent stuff? Most of your quotes are 10 years old (or older). A lot has happened in that time to change Mayor Guiliani’s views.

What changed his mind? The fact that he is running for President and needs to fool voters into believing he isn't really a liberal?

The party controlling the White House almost always loses seats in mid-term elections. That will especially be true if Giuliani or Hillary reaches the White House.

So, I'd much rather have Republicans gaining seats with Hillary in the White House and, likely, taking over Congress again, than to have a RINO presiding over a shrinking GOP minority in Congress.

I didn’t ask about qualifications, I asked if you knew what his foreign policy views are. Apparently you do not.

What changed his mind? Gee...maybe almost being killed on 9/11/01? I don't know where YOU were that day...I was in NYC, going to work and I can tell you that the experience of living through that HELL changed ME. In fact, it made me MORE conservative than I had been. It made me see and understand what was at stake in this life and it made it very clear to me WHO the main enemy is.

I may have been the only person in my office who "got it" that bin Laden was responsible for the hell on earth we were looking at through our picture windows at our 14th floor office. In fact, when I vocalized it to the guy standing next to me (I said: "Osama F'ing bin laden did this and we're at war and it will never end") he said: "who?"

I was lucky that day though...the 25 or so people I know who were working at the WTC or the WFC mae it out alive. It still amazes me. Almost everyone I worked with knew someone who was killed yet everyone I knew made it home safely. For that, I feel very blessed.

Rudy knew many, many people who were murdered that day. He was almost kileed himself when they were trapped in the building at teh command center. If that doesn't change a person I don't know what does. So yes - a lot has happened to change Mayor Guiliani. I know because it changed ME too. I was there. Were you?

What issue did 9/11 change his mind about? That's absurd. 9/11 had nothing to do with illegals, gun control, the homosexual agenda, government spending, McCain-Feingold, affirmative action or a host of other issues that he has taken liberal stances on. And, he is still rabidly in favor of abortion rights so 9/11 didn't change his mind on that, either.

9/11 is Rudy and his followers get-out-of-jail-free card for everything. The WOT is not the only issue.

So what? Blackwell just mirrors the same Rooty BS that we hear from all Rooters. How about Mr. Blackwell getting behind a candidate that can bring in the whole party?

Rooty has to operate with deception everywhere he goes. If he can do that to get elected, he can also do that if he is PRES.

No real conservative will ever trust an Arnold S type again, that is Rooty, a faux conservative, in love with being in power and subject to reverting to his liberal philosophy.

We are supposed to believe, by mouth only, that Rooty would appoint strict constructionist judges. His past does not reflect this assumption.

Trust Rooty? I don’t think so.

A figure you must be one of those that used Ted Olson constantly last spring.

I really don’t care. With this insistance on Rooty, the GOP will lose, and if they are smart they know it. If they want to lose, they will try to keep up this force feeding of a NY liberal on the rest of the country.

Ain’t going to happen.

I think it might be time to bring to bug zapper back. Seems the WideAwake and Darwin Central crowd have infested our forum again to promote Rudy (democrat in republican clothing). The “anybody but Hillary” crowd must be getting desperate—very desperate.

Hey Jim, time to dust off the ol’ bug zapper!
