No, Sen. Tom Harkin, radio talker Rush Limbaugh isn't back on drugs!
So says the state of Florida. And Limbaugh himself, who told Page Two, as he enters his last month on probation for a narcotics arrest, that he doesn't even miss getting high and now feels like a better person. And a much richer one: According to records, he'll have made an estimated $50 million while on conditional liberty.
"All's well that ends well," he said, contemplating the Oct. 31 finish of his 18-month probation, barring unforeseen trouble. "But I tell myself sometimes: 'I can't believe I did this s-.' " In a rare interview, Limbaugh - who just this week created a firestorm by calling antiwar service members "phony soldiers," prompting Iowa Democrat Harkin's comment from the floor of the U.S. Senate - says he isn't bitter. Never mind that the justice system forced him to fill out monthly reports on his whereabouts, get tested and attend therapy. "The system is what it is," Limbaugh, 56, said from his oceanfront compound in Palm Beach. "I became addicted to drugs because of a medical condition" - a bad back - "and I'm convinced now that most addicts come to a point where they do drugs just to stave off withdrawal.

Rush should just buy the Palm Beach Post, and close it down. Take a tax write off, and ut all those idiots out of a job...
So I'll comment. This article epitomizes what is wrong with lib newspapers. They can't, for reasons of incompetence as well as liberal agenda-driven politics, get anything right. I wouldn't dislike Big Lib Media so much if they could report the facts and then make their comments. But they can't even get the facts right. Every article by a lib is either an outright lie or at best a half-truth. And as this article proves mostly lies.
This will be all over the news. The media won’t resist the opportunity to remind us of what happened.
If Kerry was Swift-boated, then Rush is being “Ferry-piloted” by Harkin.
Case in point, I dont recall Rush using the term "antiwar service members". He called a phony soldier, a phony soldier. It pisses me off to no end that the media is allowed to get away with this.
And this is how the MSM works to set a complete lie into stone. Limbaugh DID NOT call antiwar servicwe members "phony soldiers"! He called phony soldiers phony soldiers. But this story will get picked up by the wirre services and the lie will endlessly be repeated until it becomes accepted fact.
Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner here.
They are only "allowed" to get away with it because people let them. If enough people call them on the LIE, and demand they retract it then they will have too, if they want to stay in business.
What should piss you off most is people just sitting around doing nothing and not calling out these prix on their lies!
Most people never look below the surface of the story. That’s the reason Dems keep getting elected. If the masses in this country would just look further into the stories/lies, it would be a Republican nation.
No further evidence is needed that some Democrats, and their Democratic cohorts in the media, are liars. Enough is enough. There is no reason to accept conservatives being trashed by liberal liars.
Wonder how much this Drive-By Media chauffeur makes?
Wonder how much Media Matter, MoveON.org, etc. paid him to run a hit piece from Rush's backyard?
I am sure that every time Bill Clinton appears in their paper he is mentioned as the impeached, former President.
The sentence that caught my eye was how he’s replaced drugs by drinking booze...as if he’s an alcoholic now. LOL.
.
Already found this on a weather board I frequent. The poster was convinced the transcripts had been altered to cover Rush’s “Fat ass”. Totally singed me with bad mojo and ruined my good impression of the board, especially with the all-knowing convinced, unbending libs.
Once mugged you'd be amazed how conservative a liberal can become
.
Hell, no!
It would be a much, much better nation than even that!
No, give it to me. “I think it should be fun to run a newspaper.” - Charles Foster Kane
Tell the lie, tell it often enough . . . . .
