Justice Clarence Thomas must be chuckling to himself as his detractors are running around like enraged monkeys as they are now all in a fuss over his new book “My Grandfather’s Son.”
For years Justice Thomas has quietly stood by, while his liberal socialist detractors have openly attacked his ruling from the bench, his convictions and intelligent, but thru it all Thomas has remained unbowed and continues to stand tall above his detractors and token lapdogs.
In his book Justice Thomas states that his Grandfather always expected him to be successful and that failure was never acceptable, something that many young Blacks in America could benefit from hearing in today.
Justice Thomas’s detractors’ claim that he was neither qualified or has the interest of Black Americans in mind in his rules, but in reality what Justice Thomas’s detractors really want is a puppet and an activist judge and Justice Thomas was neither, so in their minds he had to be destroyed, thus they put Anita Hill in a pretty dress, make up and created talking points during his 1989 confirmation hearing. Ms. Hill proved to be an example of what you find when you go to a liberal university wave a few hundred dollars and promise someone 15 minute of fame.
Ms. Hill neither struck me as truthful or very intelligent as she testified before the Judicial Committee Hearing, every time Ms. Hill spoke, I swear I could see then National Organization Women’s President Patricia Ireland waving at the cameras from the back of her throat. Justice Thomas is more than right when he states in his book that it was all about abortion and had nothing to do with supposed sexual harassment. Abortion Rights has been seen as a holy grail by the modern Democrat Party and their token sellouts, but for those Blacks who are informed abortion has amounted to nothing more than the ethnic cleansing of our once proud community and thank God for Justice Thomas standing on conviction and not what is expected from a sellout token, who seeks to belong to a party that only wants his vote.
The National Organization Women(NOW) is nothing more than liberal shock troopers of the Democrat Party, just like their counterparts the NAACP and AFL-CIO and any minority men or woman that does not meet their approval has to be destroyed, just as they tired to do with Justice Thomas.
I heard him interviewed on Limbaugh last week. Have not read the book yet. In the interview he came across as an honest and honorable man.
Agreed, and a humble man as well.
Justice Thomas has been attacked in just about every way possible. None of these criticisms really deal with what really cause his detractors pain, his political views. Their all ad hominem attacks on his personality.

This book is going to be my husband’s and sons’ Christmas presents. What the left will never comprehend is the strength of character Clarence Thomas has and has exhibited through his horrendous hearing and to this day.
I have ordered the book and should have in a day or two.
He is one of the few living famous(?) people I’d like to meet.
Who was the (NPR commentator I think) person who said she hoped Justice Thomas’s wife fed him lots of high fat food so he would die an early death?
Justice Thomas gave a very moving speech and Q&A to some young students. Alas, it seems to be no longer available.

Justice Clarence Thomas is my idea of the very finest thing a man can be. And an American can be. And a judge can be. Am I making my point here :)

I am not black but I am conservative and a few of my friends who happen to be black are mostly conservative as well so I know you are not alone.

Justice Thomas is a fine man and fine justice. It just drives the libs daffy because he is sane and they aren’t. Also he has morals and and they don’t.
On the November 4, 1994 episode of the PBS talk show, To the Contrary, Malveaux summed up her feelings regarding Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas:
“The man is on the Court. You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that’s how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person.
She is almost in a class by herself when it comes to both colossal ignorance, obnoxiousness and plain nastiness. Her finger-wagging, neck-gyrating, lip-pursing schtick reminds me of the grossest caricatures of Black women from minstrel shows. She makes Whoopi Goldberg look like Harriet Tubman.
I heard part of it, too. Justice Thomas strikes me as a truly good and decent man. Therefore, the left must try to destroy him.
