Prayer request: humblegunner is ill [Update @ #707]

humblegunner has been in the hospital since last Wednesday, October 3.

He has been extremely ill and today, after four days of antibiotics and the removal of a large amount of fluid from the area surrounding his right lung, he is finally beginning to feel better. His doctors have said that he will be hospitalized for several more days.

I was a real lardass before I got a 2-week case of food poisoning a couple years back.

I call it the South End Diet(patent-pending).

If it will help your recovery, I’ll be happy to smoke for both of us until you’re back at the range (though I might have to switch to filters to handle the volume).

I'm browsing through the threads this afternoon when I stumble onto a prayer request for humblegunner. WHAT!? I question. I sez to meself, "I know hublegunner has been in need of prayer for a long long time, but sick?" Naw. So I checks the date and realize that "SOMEBODY" neglected to give me a heads up. I start at the beginning and I read every post since 10/8. It took a lot of time. I learned, lung infection;ICU;Eaker pesters;Mason is having a vacation;pax is worried;gunner hates a bath;pneumonia might be coming back; more worry; more prayers;flapping gown;IQ of 92 (who knew?);lousy picture of red hat and sign language;escape to regular room;blood pressure up due to Valerie's posts;Alegra has a gift; gunner is home and glad; feels lousy but, Lord his own bed feels good."

So.......man, am I glad I didn't have to worry all that time over you. I would have had all that extra praying to do, and losing sleep and all. Now, FGS get strong. Stay off the cigs. Take yer vitamins. Walk. Sing. Praise God!

BTW, THANK YOU LORD, FOR WATCHING OUT FOR OUR LITTLE CRABBY BUDDY. WE LOVE HIM.
