Mom' and 'Dad' banished by California
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 13, 2007

Posted on 10/13/2007 4:19:32 AM PDT by Man50D

"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.

"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, which worked to defeat the plans. "This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms.

"Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

What a freaking idiot! Arnold just keeps sucking up more and more to the “pc-crowd”, whether it’s this or global warming. It’s seems as if he is so desparate for their seal of approval.

With left-wing Republicans like Arnold, we don't need enemies.
If the Republican party doesn't wake up, it are going to lose its base.
If it weren't for the primaries, I'd re-register Independent.

The time has arrived for everyone to pull their children out of the Government schools.

My friends and relatives are doing it - with Dingy Harry running the House, Nancy Pleurosy running the Senate and Hillary Stalin and a Muslim running for President, Brave New World and 1984 are upon us.

This is why I will not vote rino, they are the problem with the so call conservative GOP. Got a bad feeling that they will try and shove the rino down our throats. I for one will vote one who represents old time conservative values and spite those who believe conservatives are like liberals who march in fascist lock step unity.
Good bye to the rino GOP.

Easy solution, don’t send your kids to public schools. That’s ALL they have ever been, government indoctrination centers to train children to socialism. That’s why the socialist supported the foundation of public education in this country from 1830 on. Read “Is Public Education Necessary?” Amazon it.

Yes, along with about 3/4ths of the the other rino's in congress that only get
elected because they "act" like they're conservative.

The socialist media does not want it covered. More people would oppose it if it was exposed.

What the hell is going on in this country?

It's called socialism. Socialists want to destroy our democratic republic. They can only do so by attacking the base which is the family. Creating dysfunctional families will create a more dependent society on the government and will in turn create the strong centralized form of government socialists seek.

I agree. I have seen nothing about this anywhere but here but apparently it is true and unreported. This post was a total shock. I’m shaking my head in disbelief that the rights of the many are trumped by the ‘rights’ of the few.

The argument for so-called nondiscriminatory bathrooms is no doubt supported by the false analogy of the ‘white’ and ‘colored’ drinking fountains of the past.

What you and the other ostriches dont understand is that this isnt the answer. Soon the leftist and the RINOs will enact legislation that will force the private schools to do the same. Think it cant happen your crazy.

We should not cower to the left and go along with their policies to destroy this nation in the name of tolerance and diversity.

Funny how you hear nothing from so called family oriented groups like blacks and Hispanics. Of course most minorities only care about race and racial pride. Sad commentary and further proof that we need to be more insistent on the founding principles of our nation.

The biggest problem liberals have is they view human beings as blank slates. They assume centuries of usage and tradition can be wiped away with one or several government edicts.

We are not blank slates. Rousseau was wrong in assuming culture and tradition are actually prisons that must be destroyed. As human beings we seek out and actualize what has been found to work over thousands upon thousands of years. There is a biological and a psychological demarcation of the sexes that even the Soviet Union and the Harvard faculty failed to change. The Governor of California will do no better and may be laying the foundation for others to ridicule him across the generations.

Unfortunately even if you pull your children out, you still have to pay school taxes. In fact the teacher’s union will probably like that there are fewer kids that have to be dealt with. If only there was a way to hit them in the pocketbook without moving out of state.

That's one solution. Another is to start a referendum to "fix" what these advocates claim this law will break.

I skimmed the bill and would not interpret it as they do.

I'm not saying activist lawyers and judges won't go there though. I live in CA so I know better. I really believe this is a lot of hysteria over what were look like minimal changes to existing law.

I’m sorry, cubreporter, but it WILL change when your child says to the teacher, “My Mom ( or my Dad) says...” Remember, legally in CA there are no moms or dads. The parent is liable for the child’s statement and can be hauled into court. Our kids will have to call us something like Housekeeper or Money Earner.

This has NATIONAL implications in school books.

Folks you need to have your states REQUIRE the text books INCLUDE father and mother/ dad and mom.

Otherwise book publishers are going to foist this california law on the smaller states by “availability”

“This legislation will only increase and accelerate the popularity of home schooling.”

Perhaps I wasnt clear in my last post. My point is that you can run but you cant hide. If you think by homeschooling or sending your kids to a private school is going to insulate you your wrong. They are coming for you next. The better solution is to take them on and reverse this in the public setting. We should be out front and united, we need to stand up and start boycotting companies and organizations. We need to be much more than just words on a screen or a person on the phone. Either we take back our country in a bold way or we live with what they impose on us.

Unfortunately too many on here are willing to sacrifice their morals and vote for a RINO because they think it will slow the train wreck. I would rather have one bold conservative among a hundred leftists than a 50 RINOs that sit there and say nothing.

We are at a crossroads. California usually is a premonition of things to come. It doesnt look good.

We all knew Schwarzenegger was pro-abortion way before he 1st won the governorship. It’s a good rule that if a politician supports abortion he is capable of any evil imaginable--and unimagined.

THINK OF A PRESIDENT RUDY!

This is one of the most evil (and I do mean satanically evil) things the State and the Govenator could have done.

IIRC-Schwarzenegger recently said he was a “good Catholic” he is an absolute heretic and the Pope should personally and formally excommunicate him.

The family unit is the basic building block of civilization and this cancerous poison is a large part of why we are sinking.
