I wouldn't be too surprised. Wolf hybrids are the pit bulls of the Northeast Kingdom. Quite a lot of them up that way, not necessarily belonging to the most responsible of individuals.
When I first started my agricultural auction board, I ran into a large amount of groups trying to breed American Indian Dogs.
I then met up with Song Dog Kennels who started the International Indian Dog Owners and Breeders Association to assist in shutting alot of these groups down.
I wonder if these mysterious canines are releases from the ‘breeders’ that didn’t know what they were doing?
“A wolf will breed with a dog. A coyote will breed with a dog. A wolf will not breed with a coyote. But a wolfdog will breed with a coydog”
where does manbearpig come into play here ?
That ain’t big either. My Irish Wolfhound girl-dog is 96” long from nose to tail and 170 pounds - and no brains. I only cringe when she tries to sit on my lap!
micheal moore and hillary. Don’t let them breed.
Actually, the only time I ever saw Baron next to a dog bigger than him was one day when we were out walking and he suddenly broke from my hold and charged up over a hill. I ran up to the crest expecting to see him terrorizing some innocent bystander, and, lo and behold, there he was standing right next to an Irish Wolfhound. Baron — all 120 pounds of him — looked like a midget. A fearless midget, but a midget none the less!
The dog in the pic there looks to me like a cross between a blue heeler and a carolina dog.

So you’re saying that man’s best friend is really, at heart, a complete whore?
~~~~~~~~~
Yep. Just like man.
“I bet they determine the critter has gay genes.”
What??
I had an art teacher in High School that looked like that........
Vermont is a state that has codified love of anything gay.
There is an entire combination of looks with them:
I’ve heard multiple stories about them being pure American Indian Dogs vs. a bred in combination of wolf with dog with coyote.
I never got a clear understanding.
“Vermont is a state that has codified love of anything gay.”
Well of course. They MUST have gay wolves. That makes perfect sense. Not.
Not in Troy. Trust me on this.
Vermont has some pretty distinct regions, especially considering what a small state it is.
I was going to mention that. Most people would just laugh it off, but...
