The purportedly "moderate" Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani has claimed that gay men and lesbians should be killed in the most extreme fashion possible — a belief that is mainstream in the Koran and practiced by Muslims around the world. Can you name any renowned Christian leaders or organizations that are either advocating the killing of gays and any that are actually using the Bible to justify doing so?
2. "Muslims and Christians both have their share of extremists like Timothy McVeigh -- the Oklahoma Bomber -- for example." Certainly you know that McVeigh wasn't a Christian but an agnostic at the time of the Oklahoma City bombing, correct -- declaring to friends that "science" was his religion?

Another point to ponder: Why is Islam seemingly the only religion in the US that is supposedly discriminated against? To listen to CAIR, the US oppresses Moslems routinely. With all this supposed bigotry, where are the Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoist, Bahaists, Jews, etc., complaining of the bigotry they supposedly suffer? Why only Moslems?

I once had a Romanian Orthodox professor (ancient church history). He was the kindest man in the world UNTIL you mentioned Islam. I don’t think that I understood his animosity until a few years later when Yugoslavia descended into civil war.
