Not quite as bad as Cuba. Last I heard, 80% of Cubans wanted to move out of the country.

It would be more, but the weather in Cuba is better than NJ. Way better, I know, as I only live about 90 miles from Havana.

I’m not a New Jersey native but they keep voting these crooks in and then act SUPRISED at what happens! I don’t know if they are terminally dumbed down or what.

I'm shocked! Shocked the percentage is so low.

The 51% who want to stay are the Democrats, and that's the problem. If more than 49% of the voters were Republicans, the state wouldn't be driving out all the people with jobs who pay taxes.

Apparently 51% of the people like it there. That’s what’s really scary.......

To whom it may concern;
The State of Florida is infested with large Mosquitos, and larger Alligators. Large Rattlesnakes and Cottonmouth Mocassins lurk under every bush. The natives are sullen, inbred, guntoting primitives.
Fierce Hurricanes often ravage the landscape. Florida is prone to lightning storms and tornados, and the water smells funny.
Don’t even think of moving here, you won’t like it!

The Deomocrats that control this state are destroying it.

The Democrats have what my wife (of Mexican descent) would call "Manos de Intestinos". Translated literally, it means "intestine hands". In regular English, it mean that everything they touch turns to shit.

A few decades ago I might have agreed with this statement - now I know better. Republican does NOT mean conservative anymore.

We don’t live in a mansion and we pay more than that.

PUBLIC schools s-— and totally LIBERAL so we pile on private school tuition - it’t ridiculous. You are right, professionals are getting sick and tired of subsidizing Corzines socialist dream - of course he hides his $$$ and passes sweetheart deals for himself and friends.

Corzine is such a low down liar.

Any state under Dimocrap control, my state included, is rapidly or slowly being ruined.

The ones that stay, BY CHOICE and love it are the ones sucking the life and $$$ out of the state.

I’m praying that hubby will find something in another state. He’s changing companies. I HATE NJ.

Everyone knows that there are no natives in Florida.

Years ago when I frequently visited (on business) the West Palm - Boca Raton area, I called it Lower New York!

The only time I’ve been to New Jersey was in 1965. I visited my cousin in Margate. It sure was fun back then. I guess times have changed since I was there eh?

There was a movie released back in 1974 that suggested that we give the entire state of New Jersey to the crows. Who would have thought the movie was clairvoyant?

I searched around a found a good property tax by state link which excludes property taxes except by private homeowners (excludes businesses, etc. which skew the result). New Jersey is not only #1 but by a wide margin. Residents pay 6.75% of their gross income on property taxes, which is almost double where I live in Washington (ranked 11th at 3.55%). Ouch.

Property taxes: Where does your state rank?
