Fred delivers

These are my real time thoughts on Fred's speech. I think it is safe to say that his and Romney's are the most important for this crowd to hear)

He came in to the strains of Johnny Cash's "I've Been Every Where."

Jerri, Fred, and the family. The crowd went wild.

Then he starts speaking. He begins with a seemingly distracted aside about his daughter not wanting to get off stage. People laugh. But then he revs up.

It's his usual folksy style. Now here is the interesting thing about Fred. As of now, he really hasn't put out a lot of x point plans where x is some number 4 or higher. He's instead put out a list of principles, but his campaign has not really talked about them.

Right now, though, Fred is delving in. He's talking federalism and why it's a good idea and why it's important. He throws in some God references too. The crowd applauds.

If you like Fred you like his speeches. If you don’t like him you don’t like his speeches. Simple as that.

So, it isn’t Fred that is dead, but you? I’ve always been taught that you can’t learn anything if you can’t stay awake.

There has to be a desire there. A lot of people sleep during church, and don’t get anything out of it. I do not believe the preacher is there to entertain but to teach and not with rah rah stuff. It isn’t his fault if people sleep, it is those who sleep and don’t want to stay awake or aren’t prepared to do so.

If I misunderstood you, I apologize, but when you reference a cartoon, everyone gets something different out of it.

That’s a real photo taken of one of the lesser known admin monitors during the last fundraiser.

Wow....profound.

About which candidate, Democrat or Republican, is that statement not applicable?

” if other Republicans didnt agree with me, he wouldnt be doing so poorly everywhere.”

Yet he is doing better than your candidate, in fact he is ahead of all candidates, except Rudy.

"He throws in some God references too."

I take it writing wasn't the authors original gig? It's as if GOD was just a mere after thought. Throw in some God references and appease the Christians? Just state your points and leave it alone if that is your level of sincerity. With friends like this author Fred won't need any enemies.

It's real-time blogging. He's trying to take notes as he's listening -- don't expect Shakespeare.
