In California??? Of course California is overwhelmingly Leftist, Marxist, anti-American, Decadence, and Democrat--but for Rudy to poll 37% against Hillary's 57% in California in an indicator of a Rudy tsunami in the rest of the nation!!!

But just wait, The Rudy Swarm will be along shortly to try and strong-arm everyone into agreeing with the illogical and unsubstantiated claim that only Rudy can win!

I’m suprised.

I thought the little RINO could at least get 40%

ONLY a 20 point spread! LOL! It will probably be bigger than that if Rudy ends up being the nominee. I have a feeling that CA Republicans have an up close and personal idea about the kind of President Rudy would be after watching what his twin RINO Ah-nold has done.

This is why many of us can vote third party and know it’s not “a vote for Hillary” like the critics say. Hillary is going to win California no matter who the sane people vote for. Since the best we can hope for is making a “statement” I think it would do more good to have all the conservatives in California vote for the Constitution Party candidate or some other third party conservative candidate and not just roll over and “Lose with Rudy” (The California Republican 2008 theme)

I agree. You would have thought that his LIBERAL record on social issues, combined with the fact that he and his wife have a total of SIX MARRIAGES between them,,,,and the fact that he married his cousin—would have been a BIG PLUS and a BIG BOOST for him in that looney state!!!

What is the record for the least number of states and fewest electoral votes won by a Republican?

Whatever it is, I'd bet good money on Rudy beating either record if he gets the nomination.

He doesn't have a blue-state strategy. He has a black-and-blue strategy.

Rudy’s polling 7 points WORSE than Bush actually did in 2004. And this is before the MSM has even started knocking him around.

This guy’s a train wreck just waiting to happen.

I know. I find the joy expressed in some of these posts a little odd. Oh good, we get a guy who will at least be tough on Al Qaeda for an out and out socialist.

Absolutely!!!!

Most candidates 'tack to the middle' after being nominated by their Parties--but Rudy can't even do that!!! Hillary will move to the 'center' (or at least try....lol) in an attempt to broaden her appeal. The Republican candidate usually moves somewhat to the left (more to the center)--because the base is guaranteed.

Since Rudy is already 'to the left of center',,,and MORE IMPORTANTLY DOES NOT HAVE THE BASE SECURED (and a liberal like him never will),,,,he cannot 'tack in either direction'---without losing whatever support he has. If he even tries to move further to the 'left'--he risks losing more of whatever support he has in the base.

Rudy would be a disaster.

If that is a “small minority” how in the hell do they control both state houses? Your assertion is absurd on its face.

LMAO!

I just did some checking. It seems that McGovern got 37.5% of the vote, Goldwater got 38.5%, Mondale got 40.6, Herbert Hoover got 39.7% in 1932! To find a disaster of this magnitude, you need to look at the 36.5% that Alf Landon got in 1936.
