Richardson’s selection has little to do with electoral strength

It has tons to do with it, if they crunch numbers and find that a Mohammedan from Illinois can push them over the top, where a fat, bland, innocuous "Mexican" from New Mexico who won't even change his name can't.

The 'Rat machine is smarter than that.

It’s not the ‘Rat machine, it’s the Clinton machine. Big difference. Obama never showed proper deference to Hillary, so he’s a no-go. The Clintons know they have the slave vote, so no need to put a Black on the ticket. They go with an insider and an attempt to enslave the Hispanic vote with the Fat Creep (who, ironically, gets his tan complexion not from his Hispanic mom’s side, but from his IRISH dad’s side — think of Robert DeNiro, who is more Irish than Italian).

“Yes, if the GOP suddenly develops the gonads to take the fight straight to her and expose her for what she is. So far, the GOP leaders have been gutless wonders when dealing with her.”

Someone would have to beat Giuliani before they could even think of beating Hillary. But so far the Republican candidates seem unable or unwilling to do even THAT. I’m beginning to believe most of these guys don’t actually want to win the nomination. Their main goal seems to be to make it as far into the process as they can so they can get a position in the winner’s administration, or some prestige for their future ventures. I hope I’m wrong, and we don’t actually have a bunch of candidates all running for VP while pretending to run for Pres.

Vote for a terrorist enabler? If she wins, will Newsweek call her the second black president? Will she try to find the real adulterer? Oh, this should be interesting...

And I have told the Pubbies here (everytime they call or solicit funds) that it’s the ballot initiatives that get the voters out.

When President Bush beat sKerry, the ballot initiative was defense of marriage.

This last election, the Dems had a ballot initiative that was a constitutional ammendment to tie the minimum wage to the Consumer Price Index, and it passed overwhelmingly up in Cleveland cemetery precincts giving us that butthead Sherrod Brown (”lets pass the immigration bill and then we can talk about how high to build a fence and how many border patrol agents we need”).

P.S. Note to Darkwolf: Nice tag line. That must save you a lot of time debating with people that present you the facts of a matter, Eh? LOL!

No, just from wasting time with people who don't understand the electoral college, such as you.

LOL No, and it’s interesting how folks always ignore the first part of that sentence. Observing harsh reality strikes some people as being not willing to fight—for me, it’s more fuel for fighting than sitting on one’s butt in blissful ignorance.

She’s not layable, but she is beatable. Ask Bill.
