Bobby Jindal GOP 444,550 53 Walter Boasso Dem 155,154<

Gonna be a squeaker, huh?

Despite to lying rhetoric of the MSM and the dimRAts blaming everything to do with Katrina on Bush, it looks like the people that lived through it know different.

All night caucus in DimRAt DC tonight - great gnashing of teeth about the portents...gotta LOVE IT

Congrats to Bobby!

I imagine if he had won the last one, there wouldn’t have been a Katrina fiasco.

The State of Louisiana certainly took a step up tonight.

Am I reading correctly that Jindal (GOP) is in the the lead for Governor, but Landrieu (DEM)is leading Kershaw (GOP) for Lt GOV and that the DEMs have the Attorney General in the bag? Sounds like very mixed results.

We have 49 states and one Louisiana in the US..

Bobby Jindal wins in a landslide, but the Landrieu Machine also won, as did a “D” Attny Gen.

But either way:

Laisee’ le bon temps rouler.....

When will Louisianans stop electing Landrieus? Can’t they figure out that the Landrieus are a big part of the problem?

That’s because half the state is related, in some way, to the Landrieu family.

Just wondering wny Mitch Landrieu did not run for governor this time. Was he humiliated after losing for N.O. mayor?

I believe that was it. The reason he won was because Landrieau was the incumbent and the Lt. Governor’s job is mostly a symbolic position, where the main job is tourism. Of course, that person would assume the governorship if the governor was to die or not able to complete his term. But the voters were not really concentrating on that election, and had no gripes with him. The movie industry is booming down here. I didn’t vote for him.

Nor did I, and I was very dismayed to see that he won that office, but we got some good ones, too - so the victories were not confined to Jindal’s alone!
