I am a Thompson supporter, but in the poll I voted for Tancredo. Sure, Duncan is a good choice, but I don't like his spending habits. The pork has to be cut, and Duncan ain't gonna do that. He will probably happily sign every spending bill that crosses his desk, just like W.

Yeah, this is one of the big problems with instant publication on the Web. These guys without even a high-school level of grammatical capability can write articles that get published without being proofread. "Well, he works here, so his stuff must be ok!" Right...

A FR poll....okay, good source there. I can go look at a poll at DUmmieland and it will show Dennis K and John Edwards as they top two choices, and it means nothing. What are his numbers in outside polls? But I imagine a great many of those idiots will also think they have the monopoly on “principles”.

This is not a new game that they play. Some deny the game EVER has been played and that the media merely reports the "facts" as they see them.

That wasn't my point... but thanks for the vitriol. No, I was referring to the many conversations we seem to have to have on this forum (the one where the poll was taken) regarding electability. When asked who would you want to elect, you get Hunter. That's not who we're throwing our weight behind, though. We're playing foolish pragmatic games... and this is before the primaries.

This is the time to vet all of our candidates and get the best choice. It isn't time yet for the lesser of two evils again... or are we just getting conditioned that that's the way we're supposed to vote?
