Biden? The butt clown who is STILL pushing is moronic “Partition Iraq” after the Iraqis told them they want nothing to do with it has the nerve to critic anyone else on Iraq?

Yo Joe, You don’t tell us how to wage war in Iraq, we will not tell you how to be the US Senate’s resident idiot.

Senator Joseph Biden, a Democratic presidential candidate, was quick to condemn the remarks.

Ok joe, would you please point out where their armored brigades are so the Air Force can have at it. Were not talking about the two hump camel type of tank either.

Oh, you know all the candidates talk about each other at this point—remember John Edwards going after John Kerry several times on various issues? Then they were best buddies after F’n’s ‘Reporting for duty!’ nomination!

I know that FRed and Duncan are the most conservative candidates out there and if they team up they will be unbeatable, mark my words. Of course, I’m rooting for FRed as President, but if it were Hunter-Thompson 2008, I’d be pulling that lever just as fast in the voting booth! :-)

A bunch of kids like the ones we have here in our gangs is pretty much how my son described them to me.

Interesting mischaracterization.

I watched the video. In the context of a question, Thompson expresses concern at the world view of the US if we are perceived to be defeated in Iraq by a bunch of kids with IEDs. Whether you agree with the characterization or not, it is clearly how the world will see it if it happens.

Here’s the video. See what you think.

Once again the MSM bashes Thompson with nonsense, while in the same issue they promote Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul. Just impartial journalism, right?

Had me for a minute too, but then I saw NYT.

If Joe Biden was quoted in the NY Times stating that the world was round, I'd have to look to NASA for confirmation.

Fred's right on the money here. My cousin is now serving a 5th tour in Iraq. Most of the 'soldiers' he has seen killed or killed himself look to be early teens to early 20's.
Of course. What's surprising or unbelievable about this?

The muzzie world has an average of 7 children per family and the population of Iran is 50% under 25.

Israeli soldiers are facing the same thing.

Exactly what part of Fred's statement isn't true? I'm addressing my question to you, Senator Schmuck Biden.

I bet that Hunter wasn’t a “vocal supporter” of Fred’s fiscal responsibility proposals.

Not a fan of Biden... But to be fair:

“Capt. Beau Biden, a Judge Advocate General in the Delaware National Guard and the state’s attorney general, is part of the 261st Signal Brigade that has been told to prepare for duty in Iraq in 2008. They have not been given a date of deployment yet.”

Not to mention that Biden and the rest of the 'rats are happy to refer to our fighting men and women as "kids." (as in, "George Bush is sending our kids to die...blah blah blah"). Hypocrite scumbags all.

Actually, many of our troops are young also, and are frequently called “kids” by the lefties.

white suburbs in Iowa

Iowa has suburbs? Who knew?

Yea I know, they do, at least around Des Moines, the quad cities, and Council Bluffs. But I'll also bet that relative to their numbers, more recruits come from the smaller towns.

Uh, aren’t most of our boots on the ground from 18-22 years old?

These may be young people, but they have been brought up in a world that has little regard for human life.

Murder, corruption, kidnappings, brutal torture, decapitation, dismemberment's, rape and terror on a daily basis as these young people grow into adulthood.

This is a way of life in the middle east.

These so called kids are much more heart hardened than that of an American of the same age. They are easily indoctrinated into being suicide bombers or the like due in part to the lack of hope for a better life.

Can you imagine walking to school in the morning and passing dead bodies? Witnessing murders with your own eyes. Maybe having a loved ones body parts delivered to your doorstep for opposition to the government of Saddam as a warning.

These are not kids. Our kids here in America are kids.

Good point. I would like to know how many times Biden called our troops kids.
