University of Delaware officials, who just a day earlier had defended a residence hall series of teachings on which WND reported that told students "all whites are racists," today announced the program is being stopped.
"While I believe that recent press accounts misrepresent the purpose of the residential life program at the University of Delaware, there are questions about its practices that must be addressed and there are reasons for concern that the actual purpose is not being fulfilled. It is not feasible to evaluate these issues without a full and broad-based review," said a statement posted on the school's website by President Patrick Harker.
"Upon the recommendation of Vice President for Student Life Michael Gilbert and Director of Residence Life Kathleen Kerr, I have directed that the program be stopped immediately. No further activities under the current framework will be conducted," he said.
His statement said the school "strives for an environment in which all people feel welcome to learn, and which supports intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, free inquiry and respect for the views and values of an increasingly diverse population. The University is committed to the education of students as citizens, scholars and professionals and their preparation to contribute creatively and with integrity to a global society. The purpose of the residence life educational program is to support these commitments."
Harker said Gilbert will work with the University Faculty Senate and others "to determine the proper means by which residence life programs may support the intellectual, cultural and ethical development of our students."

I’m thankful the college I go to has that sort of nonsense kept to a relative minimum. There are so many people involved with ROTC here that if they tried that garbage, there would be an uproar and the military would threaten to withdraw, taking its large amount of money with it.

Well, that didn’t take long. The heat must have reached white-hot intensity fast yesterday.
Who started up a business and charged 1/2 marshmellow for his product. And soon had many more marshmellows than anyone else in the class.
Then a female student with very large cankles and a wicked laugh said, "If When the rest of the class elects me President, I am going to take your marshmellows for the common good."
The student who started his business then raised the price of his product to the other students to two marshmellows and offered credit to the others at prime plus 20% for using his company's credit card.
Then the rest of the class refinanced their homes to wipe out their credit card debt and buy more of product from the business student.

Well, I've always been belligerant and would sort of enjoy facing those kinds of punks in that situation, but I am a middle aged guy and I know who I am. These are just kids. For some of them it will indoctrinate them or intimidate them. For others it will make them fearless cultural warriors. Idiot leftists . . .
I hope every parent of a student pays close attention. Where on God’s green Earth do these people come from? That ‘program’ had to have a fair amount of planning and an approval chain in order to be on the books at all. And faculty willing to actually ‘teach’ it?. Creepy is the only word that comes to mind.

The funny thing is, as she points out, most of these programs were started by the US Dept of Defense, to encourage people to study the Middle East so as to eventually provide service to the DoD intelligence agencies (all through Title VI) because there was an alarming dearth of people in our intelligence communities who spoke Middle Eastern languages and understood the culture. The Islamofascists crept in with their money and subverted these courses.

You make a very important point that should not be missed in our jubilation. These people never surrender; they merely retreat strategically and plan their next operation. And the whole damn academy is LOADED with them.

The ideal scenario would be for a white male student to find out about the event beforehand and come prepared. When it comes down to only the white males not getting any sugar from the communal pot, the prepared student pulls out a whole bag of jumbo marshmallows and shares them generously with his oppressor oligarch buddies.
"Eat yours nice and slow," they'd tell the oppressed minorities. "You gotta make 'em last." Then they'd pop another marshmallow and say to the instructor "Hence the difference between a socialist economy and private industry." And they'd pop another marshmallow.

This is nothing new. When I went to the University of Maryland, the feminist studies department took all the male names out of the phone book and made a display declaring that we were all “potential rapists.” University never did a damn thing about it.
