On his daily radio talk show, Glenn Beck portrays himself as an average guy, a recovering alcoholic and a comedian who regularly injects humor into his conservative politics.
This week he can add another description: very wealthy.
Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, is expected to announce today that it is extending Mr. Beck’s contract.
Two sources with knowledge of the deal said it was valued at
$50 million over five years,
through a combination of salary and profit-sharing from syndication.

For every 50 million dollar contract let out in the movies, sports, or other entertainment, or for each CEO’s multi-million dollar payout—you and I are coughing up our hard earned dough if we happen to buy products from the companies that are involved. Someone has to pay for those outrageous salaries.
It’s interesting. We whine and whine about the wealth that is transferred in taxes to cover handouts to the poor, why aren’t there equal complaints to the “handouts” the rich get?
I would venture a good portion of revenue gets “transferred” under the name of capitalism. Seems like both ends of the spectrum are getting the goods. I believe in captialism but I think greed and these ridiculous salaries are killing the little guy.

So don’t buy the product.
I coughed up a penny once... Never coughed up dough. I almost did once when someone said “what kind of dough do you think they make dill bread out of?”
The worst guy in that lineup is Sean Hannity.
He is awful.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. I am thankful for Glenn’s willingness to take on the kinds of subjects that he does on a regular basis. Go Glenn!

The American people see the Dems for waht they are, treasonous, power hungry dogs, whose canine whining simply means one thing: they need to be put on a leash or into the pound.
Now its time to get behind Duncan Hunter, and make things right with a capital "R". Really Right. I mean RIGHT. As in right wing. Right.....Right?

Iraq is not working the way they wanted ( defeat). The economy is posting the best grown in 1a couple of years ( Oh No!), and the Prsident is taking his anti-dem show on the road, revealing their pork barrel strategies on military supplemental funding.
And Pelosi and her dogs are in disarray.

Although he may have benefited from AA
in his journey to sobriety, I haven’t
heard him claim to be connected to AA.
He does, however, very emotionally, give
gratitude and glory to God for his many
blessings, including sobriety.
No it’s not to keep your head from exploding...it’s so when your head does explode you have all the pieces so they can put it back together at the hospital

Rush makes hash of liberal callers and they seldom”go on ond on,” he lets them all fry in their own butter and it works every time. Beck has liberals on his show but allows them to sound and act like idiots. Glenn remains polite to them, albiet incredulous and showing great close-up amazement and disbelief at their rhetoric. I like both Glenn and Rush.
Yeah, I listened too, back in the day. pretty good show, all things considered.
I'm in the Lower Keys of Florida now and get WIOD fine during the day . In the evening, WIOD fades away, and all the AM stations are in Spanish. :(

It sounds like he’s spreading it around! Love his 9-12 radio,cause it’s on XM. I live too far from a good AM channel to listen to him.
