Why doesn’t the GOP seize control like they just did with that rediculous Cheney impeachment debacle. They need to introduce legislation that commends the troop surge as the right approach and pledge to support General Patreus action in Iraq. The GOP could include language that agrees that as the success of the surge continues to take hold the mission will continued to be turned over to Iraq security forces with more and more troops returning home... tie in a basing infrastructure to that.. kinda like the Marshall plan and WALAH... Let the Democrats go on the defensive it will force them to no support part of what they want.

Slightly off thread, but in keeping with your post...I heard an interesting observation from someone a week ago: if Wiley Coyote had all this money to buy those ACME products to try and catch the Roadrunner...why didn't he just order dinner?
