Anti-war demonstrators protest military ship unloading in Olympia
Associated Press ^ | Nov 6, 2007

Anti-war protests have returned to the Port of Olympia with the unloading of a military ship bearing Army gear from a Stryker Brigade that recently returned to nearby Fort Lewis from Iraq.

According to an initial news release Sunday from Olympia Port Militarization Resistance, the group at first did not plan to try to block cargo from being sent from the port to the Army post ...

Late Monday, however, after the arrival of 950-foot roll-on, roll-off cargo vessel, group leaders said a series of votes and discussions resulted in a change in strategy.

"As long as the war in Iraq is going on, it's all part of the revolving door," said Andrew Yankey... "They're just shipping it in so they can ship it back out,"...

The Brittin was used to haul the gear of the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), which recently completed a 15-month assignment in Iraq.

Lets start with this friggin' idiot:

Last week, Port Commission President Paul Telford contacted two peace activists, City Council member TJ Johnson and Lawrence Mosqueda, a professor at The Evergreen State College, to inform them of the impending arrival of the Brittin and to seek their aid in avoiding trouble this time.

A private security firm has been hired, Telford added.

Blackwater??? Nahhh, not this guys speed...But it's wishful thinking on my part I suppose...

"While we know that there are strong feelings in our community about the war in Iraq, we hope any demonstrations while the vessel or cargo are at the port will continue the spirit of the homecoming (for the soldiers) and be peaceful," Telford said in a news release.

No shat shirlock??? youbee a genius!!!

Maybe next time...If you're still in that job...You'll think...Uhhhh, sorry, didn't mean to imply you have any amount of intelligence...

Seems to me that “loose lips sink ships” is a good idea to remind this “port commissioner” of the liability of informing people or groups hostile to this countries interests is seditious??? Much less than treasonous...

And in his position he is privy to information that could be used to do great harm to those interests...

We used to hang/shoot/imprison people and throw the key away for life for these things...

Seems to me a nationwide FReep-a-thon of this guy would be in order...

Get into contact with the other two commissioners, the Oregon Attorney General and ask why has this not been investigated???

I mean in reality nothing happened to the ship and the personnel onboard...

But if I was on that ship coming in and there were these hostile elements distracting the local and state law enforcement in having to deal with the unwashed...And a terrorist decided this was a juicy opportunity to take some materials out of commision...

I believe people have gone to prison for life, for less...

Enough is enough...

A frustrated truck driver who declined to give his name throws his hands in the air in disgust after radical protesters denied his request to move out of the road so a military shipment could exit the Port of Olympia on Friday evening. Nothing really new here.

Having lived through the treason on the streets by Fonda, Kerry, Kennedy and other hate America Hatriotics in the late 1960’s and early 70’s, this is not new.

I believe that wearing a mask now during these events is considered an act of terrorism in most cities, and is a reason for an arrest.

If we had tried Fonda, Kerry, Kennedy and others for treason when they behaved like this, found them guilty and hung them in the Senate Rotunda and left to rot, the world would be a better and safer place.

They look like the typical liberal parasite children who live off mom and dad’s money. All they have to do all day is attend liberal indoctrination classes, drink beer or smoke dope and publicly express their stupidity.
