Paul, the one who has spammers working outside the country to lift him in the polls? The 9-11 truther Paul?

Yes, THAT Ron Paul. He still beats DH, even in the "real" polls.

But “can win” is THE issue...

One simple reason. Most people that learn about Hunter understand that he is superior to the others. In some cases by a very, very wide margin.

Is Hunter ahead of Paul yet?
***Over at Intrade, Ron Paul is beating Thompson. If your guy is so great, why isn’t he beating Paul? You can’t say he doesn’t have name recognition, so then what is the problem? Thompson may have a problem that cannot be corrected. Hunter’s name recognition problem is slowly being corrected.

One thing prediction markets are better at — their only bias is whether someone can make money trading the futures contracts.

I like Duncan Hunter a LOT...but he’s not going to win the nomination. I wish it wasn’t so.

Me too but I agree with your assessment. DH just hasn't established a profile save among the true political junkies. But who knows, no votes have actually been cast yet, and at this time in 2004 Howard Dean was the presumptive Dem nominee and look what happened to him.

It does seem that there are daily stories in the MSM dissing FDT.. maybe they really are afraid of him?

Fred is in the middle of a purse fight with the other moderates. It’s ripe for Hunter. And its time to harvest.

Unlike the last time we went round on this, it is not a typo with a claim to being a poll. It is an Intrade link.

And who would these "most people" be? Your family members?

All is not lost, however. I'm sure Duke Cunningham can find a way to infuse some cash, if you ask him.

The folks that ‘drafted’ him should have put their efforts into supporting Hunter and avoided this embarrassment. But there is still time.

Good luck with that.

IMHO the only winner if that were true would be Huckabee...

Again, Hunter is barely moving if at all...

They used to be afraid of FDT. Not anymore. The “lazy” label has stuck.

colorado tanker wrote: “BTW, my congrats to the headline writer. Any more, most people wrongly use “floundering” instead of “foundering.””

foun·der
1. To sink below the surface of the water: The ship struck a reef and foundered.
2. To cave in; sink: The platform swayed and then foundered.
3. To fail utterly; collapse: a marriage that soon foundered.

floun·der
1. To make clumsy attempts to move or regain one’s balance.
2. To move or act clumsily and in confusion.

Seems to me either could be used correctly for this headline.
