Nava pleaded guilty to committing a lewd act by force on a child under 14, admitted to being a stranger to the child when the crime was committed, and acknowledged that the act involved force and or fear to the child, prosecutors said.

My niece is an OB/GYN who took her pre-med at HAAAAVVAAAAADDD! Needless to say, she emerged from that experience a FLAMING, BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL.
Upon completing her medical training at yet another liberal university, she interned at a hospital near the border in San Diego.
It was there that a mystical transformation took place: She began to connect the heavy deductions from the GROSS EARNINGS for which she busted her butt for as many as 72 virtually sleepless hours in a row with the taxis and jalopies regularly sliding to the curb in front of the ER.
Many of them contained pregnant illegals who won the race to deliver their babies HERE. She caught many of those babies who, under the current — and ERRONEOUS — interpretation of the 14th Amendment were IMMEDIATELY NEW AMERICANS. The mother – who, obviously, could not care for the child if she were back in her native land — could not be deported now even if the INS and the political bosses WANTED her deported . And as the mother of a new US citizen, the woman could remain here for about as long as she cared to – and that was usually for life.
Most of those patients were welfare recipients and the deliveries were charity cases: The bill for the hospital’s – and HER services – were routinely spread over the bills of those who DO pay. And what the other users of those facilities don’t cover went back to the taxpayers.
And since my niece was now a taxpayer, they were costing HER.
And while she may not exactly be a libertarian, today she’s now a LOOONNNNG way from Haaaavaaaaaad.
And just so the bleeders who might see this don’t think me some sort of ethnocentric bigot, I submit this problem is MORE than just about illegals.
Before my oldest daughter was born at University Hospital in Cleveland in 1967, I sat in the main lobby as welfare mother-to-be after welfare mother-to-be shuffled through the door to the maternity ER for THEIR free deliveries.
Before WE could take OUR daughter home, I had to cough up over 3 grand. And that was a great deal of dough in 1967, especially for a guy just out of the USAF.
As I wrote the check, I remembered the magazine article I’d recently read by a hospital administrator from Massachusetts who admitted that all US hospitals practiced a form of medical Marxism, spreading the costs of care for indigents over the bills of those who DO pay for care. Given the move to socialism here, it probably will never be otherwise: Not counting Byzantine complexity and confusion, government produces – and has — NOTHING unless it first takes it from some PERSON. SOMEBODY ALWAYS PAYS.
Look, I have a big enough problem paying for the 3rd and 4th generation slackers and welfare bums who were BORN here.

The people we have put into office are simply criminals themselves. A criminal is someone who ignores laws he finds inconvenient. The current occupant of the White House and pretty much all of his buddies in the Congress have conveniently ignored our immigration laws, and subjected the Americans to the most incredibly massive crime wave in our history, something so momentous in human history that it has no equivalent.
It is simply the end of our democracy, the finish of the Republic. No reasonable person can say that our laws mean anything at this point, when despots simply flaunt those laws.
Ordinary solutions are now beyond possible. Where we go from here can only be towards radical, wrenching solutions. If the descendants of the original Americans cannot find the stomach to do that, then they and their children are finished, and what will emerge will be little more than a nuclear armed version of Hugo Chavez' ugly thugocracy.

My children were born while I was in the USAF ...
I was fortunate that I was covered under the military medical system and CHAMPUS for my children...we paid some but not all for their care...
since watchimg the billions spent on illegal aliens for OB/GYN and nonemergency medical care, I dont feel that I was afforded anything free...
I was serving my country...not breaking into it for free handouts...

Dick, I had a bunch of these slacker types that were relatives. I supported them all, kept them off welfare, from being bankrupt, all their creditors got paid. 3 generations of them. I'm tired enough paying for our own.

Good post. We have had a socialistic medical system for at least forty years now. Always somebody riding the gravy train, while the naive taxpayers are the ones pushing it along.

For example, in the case of the serial rapist dentist, Dr. David Fuster - a native of Peru in this country legally. After being convicted in 2003 of rape, assault, child abuse and sex offenses involving a 15-year-old patient, he and his wife and five children fled to Mexico while he was out on bail waiting sentencing. Although Mexico did eventually extradite him, it was only on the condition that he would not be prosecuted on any other charges. At least four other girls came forward accusing him of similar crimes but Mexico demanded he not be charged. The Sacramento Bee ran a story today about a suspected murderer (already in a California jail on another charge and with 14 to 18 aliases), referring to the criminal as “a Mexican citizen”. The Sacramento Bee-Ess had to do this because of their front-page article about the hatred coming from the “anti illegal immigration” folks.
No mention was made of her nationality in my paper. Later it was reported that she was Mexican - one report stated that she said she was illegally in this country and in another the police stated she was legally.
She was sentenced to ten years but might get out earlier. Naturally, she had to be provided with an interpreter.

Arellano de Hogue is a permanent resident of the United States and has taken - but not yet received the results of - a citizenship test, her lawyer, Michael A. Zwaig, said in court.
She has two sons, ages 10 and 14, and lives with her fiance, Cirilo Mondragon. The woman’s two younger brothers, Solvano and Jose Arellano de Hogue, traveled from Florida to attend yesterday’s hearing, the defense attorney said.
The defendant has not worked in three years, her lawyer said, since a serious back injury left her on disability.

And a Catholic priest who has known Arellano de Hogue for two years described her as a prayerful woman who was so cautious about driving that she had both of her family’s vehicles blessed before a three-week trip to her native Mexico in July last year.
The eldest of nine children, Arellano de Hogue grew up in a small Mexican village with no running water and left school after the third or fourth grade to help raise her siblings, defense attorney Ricardo D. Zwaig told the judge.
After “being victimized” as a teenager, she moved about 25 years ago to the United States, married a man who turned out to be an abusive alcoholic and took a job as a housekeeper to support her family, the defense attorney said during the hearing.
He later declined to elaborate on the trauma that his client suffered in Mexico.

Kenai Santos was seated in the back of a pickup truck, being driven home from a shopping trip by an older female friend, when, she said, she saw a woman appear in the truck’s path.
The driver of the truck, Lazara Arellano de Hogue, honked her horn but continued driving, Santos testified yesterday in court, and the woman in the street appeared to have been struck.
“I saw her falling sideways,” Santos said in Spanish through a translator.
Moments later, the truck turned onto a side street and Arellano de Hogue removed a stroller that was jammed underneath the truck, Santos said. Then the women got back into the pickup and drove away.
“As I approached him, his eyes focused on me,” Officer Dominic Rizzo said. “His hands were opening and closing and he appeared to be breathing in rapid, short, choppy breaths.”
As the boy’s relatives in the courtroom wept softly, Rizzo testified that the boy’s jeans were in shreds and the flesh on his left hip and thigh had been worn away. He radioed for a medic unit and told the dispatcher that if one didn’t arrive soon, the boy likely would die, he recalled.

A Baltimore woman testifying in the vehicular manslaughter trial of Lazara Arellano de Hogue said that she tried several times to tell de Hogue that she had a baby and stroller wedged under her car.
Douglas said she pointed and shouted and honked her horn, telling Arellano de Hogue that she had a baby under that stroller. The stroller was lodged near the front wheel on the passenger side of the truck.
