The problem with that though is that if a southern state decides on something, the left from other places come in with lawyers to try to stop us.

I'll concede that. More often than not it is the Left that wishes to impose their values nationwide, however, the Right is guilty of this as well (though just not as often).

Real Conservatives do not sit home.

So you’re happier knowing that soldiers die because of greed than democrats? Yeah , that’s a very “grown up” position to take.

Exactly. In other words, what happens if the 2008 presidential election involves two Democratic candidates and no Republicans?

They don’t sit home but they don’t stay on the reservation either.

Help me out here.

I understand the POTUS recommends for Supreme Court. Even if we elected a hardline pro-lifer, I’m still not sure it could overturn current law and precedent.

A much wider effort is needed, first of all culturally.

My question is: is it worth throwing all the other “lessers-of-two-evils” overboard and taking the risk. In other words, does the cost-benefit ratio pay out? (i.e., Hillary downside risk vs. pro-life upside risk).

What do you think will happen, when President Hillary, supported by the overwhelmingly Dem Congress stuffs the Courts with liberal activist judges? Will you be proud that you helped her? How does that help the conservative anti-abortion agenda?

Even if conservatives would get elected after Hillary, you can’t get rid of the judges, you are stuck with them.

Anyone who "stays home" from the polls deserves a tax-raising, gun-grabbing, cross-dressing liberal in *every* elected office.

I agree. But are you referring to Julie Annie or Hillary? I can't tell....

Morning Weegee,
I agree with you one hundred percent. It will probably be a choice of the lesser of the two evils.

I oppose Rudy on his pro-gay, pro-abortion and illegal immigration concepts.

However we cannot allow for “Commie-Marxist” Shrillary to occupy the oval office. We do not need another Pee Wee Herman (Ross Perot) third party to cost us an election as in 1992.

The so called economic conservatives best get off their duffs and vote for the republican nominee.

America does not need (Arkansas Trailer Park Trash) back in the Whitehouse.

Shrillary would cause a civil war in this country with her Alinsky mindset(communistic-marxist) doctrine affecting the (Good Men&Women) of America.

America deserves better and we together will put another Republican(Whomever) back in the Whitehouse in 2008.
“Better to vote Repub than to stay at home and soon become a Red.”
Respectfully,
NSNR

Well I for one will sit home if Hunter or Tancredo don’t get the nomination. Than when Hillary takes over the White House I am going to bitch piss and moan the loudest. I’ll show them. I’ll teach them a real lesson. When Hillary puts lefties on the court, ruins our medical system, raises our taxes, limits firearms, sells out terrorists(like her husband did) marries her aide in a White House ceremony and mandates abortion clinics on every block we conservatives can say we really showed them.

I understand the opposition to Rudy. So oppose him in the primary.

A small observation: I live in NH, and on the way to work I get to see the little (or in some cases HUGE) campaign signs on people's lawns. Today, I saw two Tancredo signs, one that said "Hillary" (no bullet pock marks in the sign, unfortunately), a Huckabee sign, one Romney sign, and a few Ron Paul signs. Not a single sign for Julie Annie. I don't think his BS is playing well here, and I hope my little state does some harm to his viability, because he is a fake, a fraud, and a phony.

Amen.

If Frudy or McLame get the nomination, my choices are: Not vote, vote for myself as a write-in, or vote third party.

I am a conservative, and only a Republican so long as the Republican party is conservative.
