Because I think that now more than ever, conservatives are getting terminally fed up with the old bait and switch routine that the Republicans have gotten away with for the past thirty years.

You should have watched the video before you commented. Giuliani says the “strict constructionists” he’d appoint might support Roe v. Wade. That’s one of the main points I was trying to make in the Hannity forums before they banned me. Sean has been a borderline liar about this.

Giuliani ain’t gonna run me off, he is the one who doesn’t belong here.
First of all, none of the examples you have given come close to the liberalism of Rudy. Rudy has been extreme left on this primary conservative issues:
1. Abortion (Strongly in favor of Partial-Birth Abortion)
2. Gay-Rights
3. 2nd Amendment rights
3. Illegal Aliens
Secondly, conservatives, by and large, are a principled lot. Not Pragmatic, and not compromising.
If he is nominated Hillary will use his past as a battering ram and the result will be all those currently uninformed strongly conservative voters will run from him.
And finally, for those of us unwilling to sacrifice our morals and our principles, we will not be “stomping off” as you so incorrectly characterize it, we will be voting our conscience and our principles. Something you seem to willing to compromise on.

Whoever is elected President has the lives of two and a half million men and women of the US Armed Forces in their hands.
I won’t let them down at the polls when it comes to a choice between Hillary and any other candidate.
I will vote for whoever the Republican nominee is (even Ron Paul) rather than see Hillary destroy the US Military which she will.
I suspect Rudy as President will be the end of the Republican Party, end of Conservatism, etc and end of this forum. It is up to the anti Rudy crowd to defeat him in the primaries. But if it becomes a choice on doing what is best for the Party vs what is best for the United States it is a no brainer, I will vote for Rudy.
I have told my Democratic friends, they nominate Obama or Edwards I would be happy even if the Republicans lost. Hillary is the key, if she somehow don’t get the nomination I am not going to vote for Rudy and I suspect much of his support would disappear.

Guiliani will not nominate conservative, pro-life judges. That is the biggest lie of the campaign....thus far.

For one, you are playing into the Hillary boogey-man.
Hillary is too much concerned with her own power and Bill (Mr. Triangulation) will not let her do something so totally stupid that would put in harm’s way the men and women in our armed forces.
On top of this is the fact that the tide has turned on Iraq. Even if she by some miracle became president, it would not be in her best interests (and this is all she is about) to turn tail in Irag. She will have to finish out the war successfully.
We The People are and own the GOP. We must throw the RINO pirateers overboard.

Here's the way that I've started to view this Repub / Dem situation. First of all, I've never been a member of any political party. I've always called the shots as I saw them. Having said that, todays two party system boils down to the following:
On the one hand we have the new Republican party that is in actuality the face of the corporate globalists and anti-nationalists.
On the other hand, we have the new Democrats that are in reality the face of the new global Marxists. They of course have always been anti-nationalists.
Throw in the Islamo Fascists to really stir things up an you have the perfect recipe for global disaster.
That means that when you choose one or the other , you are merely choosing your favorite brand of tyranny. Either way, you end up a slave.

This is a result of Tom Delay's policy of solidly defining the two parties...it's a divide and conquerer strategy that both sides of the isle are perpetuating on the Republic. It was never meant to be this way.
The big lie is that Hillary is a moderate and that Rudy is a conservative. The powers that be (see out of control government)want to move the sheeple further to the left in the monarchy.
We have got to find ways to reach those across the isle (bypass the media political arm) or we will continue to be ruled. That way is not to become a member of the other isle by proxy like Rudy has.
Rudy's election, to me, will signify that we have surrendered.
Our Govenator Swartzebegger has appointed more democrat judges than Republican judges...
