Gang-Rape in Annapolis, Saudi Style
Townhall.com ^ | November 27, 2007 | Frank J. Gaffney, Jr.

Posted on 11/26/2007 11:26:55 PM PST by gpapa

It is fitting that Condoleezza Rice chose the U.S. Naval Academy for the venue of tomorrow’s so-called Mideast peace conference. The reputation of that extraordinary institution in Annapolis has been sullied in recent years by a succession of rapes of young women. Despite official efforts to low-ball its significance, Ms. Rice’s conclave is shaping up to be a gang-rape of a nation on a scale not seen since Munich in 1938, when the British and French allowed Hitler and Mussolini to have their violent way with Czechoslovakia.

This time, the intended victim is Israel. As with the effort to appease the Nazis and Fascists nearly sixty years ago, however, the damage will not be confined to the rapee. The interests of the Free World in general and the United States in particular will suffer from what the Saudis and most of the other attendees have in mind for the Jewish State – namely, its dismemberment and ultimate destruction.

Betraying Israel is not a good idea.

Impeachment is only months away.

Sheesh, I thought the article that compared Condaleeza Rice to Nancy Pelosi was over-the-top. Now Frank Gaffney is accusing her of organizing a gang-rape. This marks the end of Gaffney as a responsible policy maker.

Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Just thought it need repeating. Better read it George.

HAL9000, that analogy to 1938 Czechoslovakia must have struck a cord with you on some level. This is shaping up to be a conclave with no possible up-side for Israel. It is the only entity that is mentioned as needing to give up something. And it’s quite clear, Condi and Bush expect a Palestinian state no matter what, if not now, within a year.

You may not agree with the ‘rape’ analogy, but it really does strike home with me. I do see Israel getting hosed here.

It's reasonable to draw analogies between Hitler and a rapist. But Gaffney goes way overboard by implying that Secretary of State Rice is organizing a Hitler-like rape of Israel. It's offensive and untrue.

Whatever the merits of Gaffney's argument, he has thoroughly discredited himself with the rapist jab at Rice, and his arguments will never be taken seriously at the State Department again.

I dunno. If Condy is pushing Israel to give up something for the benefit of a nation of terrorists and murderers at the expense of Israel, then I would liken her to the bar-hag who pins the virgin down so the brutes can have their way.

You are right.

Israel might as well bend over.

It is on it's way!

blog snip:

Deputy National Security Adviser Elliott Abrams said much of the heightened State Department activity with the two parties was "process for the sake of process" and being done to "assuage the Arabs and the Europeans, who haven't been happy with the United States[and are] happy to see that there's at least an attempt or energy being put into the peace process," according to one attendee at the closed door meeting. Abrams also told the meeting that he would guard against the bureaucrats at the State Department taking over American Middle East policy, as well as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice falling into the "Clintonian mode" of needing to point to achievements to secure her legacy as her term concludes, according to someone at the discussion.

It is not just on Israel. They are doing all kinds of stupid and naive things over North Korea these days, as well, if you ask me.

Hopefully Israel will find better things to do and bow out. An excuse akin to "I'm washing my hair" will suffice.

Okay, that’s what you have gleaned from this and I can accept it. What will you say next spring if a Palestinian state is recognized and Israel has to give up half of Jeusalem? What will you say when the Palestinians destroy the regligious treasures of Israel in Jerusalem like they did Joseph’s tomb? Then what will you say next year about this time when Syria has armed the new Palestinian state in the same manner as it has the Hezballah in southern Lebanon? And what will you say in the spring of 2009, when the Palestinians invade Israeli territory and exact thousands if not tens of thousands of fatalities before Israel can fight them off?

Will you still defend Condi? I won’t.

IMO, this is precisely the scenario Condi is ushering in. And I for one detest it.

We see this differently. What Gaffney has said is strong. If he is proven wrong, he will bear the weight of it. If he isn’t the State Department will hate his arse anyway. The State Department is a real den of iniquity IMO. It would be a badge of honor for them to dispise my ideology.

Agreed that it is a blatantly stupid move to betray Israel. But why would President Bush be impeached? Olmert is going along with it and implementing control and massive amounts of people around take time. When the Arabs do attack, the President will be sipping iced tea at the Crawford Ranch.

I believe what he feels he is doing is right for our national survival and oil, especially in light of a fast sickening economy but in the end it will be the means to a global economic meltdown. It will be easy at that point to detonate a WMD in Tel Aviv with no warning whatsoever to the citizens. What if it is a common nerve gas where no one nation can be fingered?

Israel fearing for her survival would likely use the Sampson Option. Not much oil going around for quite some time in that scenerio and the USA economy would collapse.

Thanks. I don’t like the warning clouds. They’re quite dark and ominous. It looks as if something Biblical is on the way.

I don’t dwell on end times, but I was brought up to understand them. And I have to say, things are shaping up a lot quicker than I had ever thought they could.

The next few years look to be some amazing times IMO.

That is interesting, I had not seen that article but I posted the exact same thing on a different thread. Condi is a far-left ideologist like Pelosi, except she has a ‘smattering’ of conservatism and nice degree which gives her some semblence of credibility and sophistication. Repeat after me Ms. Rice: radical Islamists that cheered the horrific death of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 in the streets is NOT the same as Dr. Martin Luther King or poor African-American Alabamans’

I don’t think Bush would be impeached, but I’d like to run a thought of mine by you.

You metion El Morte, and that he would do what was best for Israel. Let me ask you to think of El Morte as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Ried, John Kerry or Ted Kennedy. Are you still comfortable with El Morte’s intent?

I see El Morte as a misguided leftist. Ben Netanyaho is the conservative by comparison.

Do you get where I’m headed here? Do you still think Israel isn’t exposed to danger?

I know you didn’t specifically say Israel wouldn’t be exposed to danger, so this may be a little unfair. I’d still like to get your opinion.

Dark and omnimous yes. Keep in mind that if all of this unfolds as the bible prophecied then the final great war and tribulation are very short-lived. It also means we have something more then just this life to look forward to. I fully believe it.

I was given a very specific dream. And in this dream Benjamin Netanyahu was Prime Minister and be began his rule at a time of peace with the Arabs, but this is a fake peace or hudnuh, whatever that terms is for a traitorous Islamic scumbag. President Bush is still in office in the dream. I had this dream in 1999/2000 when Ehud Barak was PM. Not knowing much about Israeli politics, I woke up and wondered how Bibi could be PM again. It was three of four years later when I found out in Israel they can leave office and serve as a PM again.

Now let me tell you what. This dream comes about as vividly seen years ago I am getting the ammo ready because the war of Gog & Magog will be shortly behind and after that, WWIII. If a year is the stated goal to this big, new, false ME peace where we all know Israel is gonna get hit hard, then Israeli’s may just throw Olmert out and bring Bibi back.

I'll say "Let's roll". We'd have to intervene. But there are plenty of other possible outcomes. I'll reserve judgement until we get more details.

If Gaffney wanted to exert his influence on Rice, he should have refrained from starting out by comparing her to a rapist. It's bad salesmanship, and it's counterproductive.
