Media barely even trying to hide its bias

In 2004, Newsweek's Evan Thomas described media bias as being worth 15 points to the Democrats. I do not believe that is any exaggeration, and I believe it applies to almost every race.

Consider the following:

The MSM is trying to use permatantrum™ and fibrication™ techniques to talk us into a recession, or worse. Meanwhile, most sectors of he economy are screaming along at a pace that is the envy of the developed world...

Horrid Economy Stalls to Only 4.9% GDP Growth
About That Economy....

Next, the Washington Times and Michelle Malkin have updates on even more plants at the CNN debate than were at first realized. CNN cannot be this incompetent; it's just hard to imagine this not being intentional, even if it occurred at a level below Anderson Cooper's perceptual threshold. (Powerline indicates that Bill Otis suspects that someone was getting worked here; this was no coincidence or mistake.) Also, according to Malkin, CNN is removing some of the planted questioners' clips from their rebroadcast: Rewriting the historical record: an act worthy of Josef Stalin.

Then, there's fact that an NBC host called George W. Bush a "monkey," and then only moments later...

I have to say...my parents are both fairly liberal (60s youngin’s) but even they have noticed the bias and are miffed by it.

There is media bias everywhere....just wonder if all this “media bias” stories is due to people getting nervous about Hillary winning/losing?

The funny thing is, the media's bias is really not helping the Democrats any more. By insulating them from tough questions while giving Republicans an anal exam, the MSM ensures that the Democrats will continue to drift toward the fringe, with comical leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It also forces the GOP to hone it's message, and forces it's candidates to be truthful and able to handle difficult, hostile questions under pressure.

The blatancy of the MSM's liberal bias is also powering the rise of the alternative media. The funny thing is, they know these things, but they can't help themselves. Expressing their contempt for American conservative principles is thereputic and cathartic for them. I think that some of them know it's not going well, but they're powerless to stop.

While this stuff is indeed infuriating, let’s keep in mind that fraud like this must first be exposed before it is ended. Just uncovering it starts the process of ending it because while they have the ratmedia we have the new media. The new media is rising and the ratmedia is falling.
Our patience and hard work will bring about their fall.

Exactly and those that have realized how bad it has gotten are powerless to stop the rest of the lunatics from continuing their rants. Anti-Bush, anti-republican, anti-military, anti-everything as long as it pushes their own agenda. (Nice tagline, too.)

The MSM are not biased, they are liberal political organizations, running 24/7/365 political campaigns, and lying about it.

Time for them to be labeled as such by the FEC.

What amuses me most is that there are diehard Leftists out there who are disgusted with the New York Times, CNN, and other major media outlets for their (snicker) nonstop support for President Bush and his war in Iraq. The conservatives are in power (you see) because the media props them up and hides the truth from the American people.

Delusional people. I've met them.

Imagine how it would be if the media just reported news about candidates and party positions fairly. There'd be veto-proof Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, a Republican Presidency, and the USSC would likely be stacked 8-1 in favor of conservatives (simply because with better, more accurate reporting, we wouldn't have "Borkings," or put Clarence Thomas through the kind of ordeal he went through.)

Repetition is the mother of pedagogy, my friend. We may know, but there are—trust me on this—millions of Americans who don’t know, and are only starting to become aware because new media keeps hammering.

Excellent! In most of the movies of seen, evil eventually outdoes itself. Perhaps it will be so here, too!

Kind of like Michael Jackson-—he knows he’s screwing his face up more and more, but he just can’t stop getting plastic surgery! I sure hope you’re right!

I work 7 days-a-week, 90-hrs or more, to do my part towards the aim of ending the left’s influence over the planet for all time. I’m right there with ya.

Still nary a peep about the Dem plants at the CNN Republican debate. Not even on the CNN website which I had heard had apologized for their ineptness. The alphabets couldn’t care less about exposing the Clinton News Network for their blatant manipulation. I sure hope the masses ARE getting it. I realized the media spin 10 years ago. Enough.

That's a nice fantasy, but I'm afraid you are kidding yourself.

If the media was more fair, the GOP would drift further to the left.
