[Carl C is back pedaling like crazy from Troy Stanley now]

Carl C is as bad a Shep and Herrald’oh. Speculation, speculation, let’s make sure we don’t get facts.

Personally, I will wait to get valid info.

Did they say it was a woman? I thought it was a man.

They said a woman plays a young Bob Dylan in the movie that opens up today!

Troy Stanley has probably been in the woods all day sleeping off his 72 hour drinking binge and will wake up to find out his family thought he had taken people hostage and blabbed about him all over the news.

I have a funny feeling that the guy might have contacted the ACLU....and they asked him what party he belonged to. We'll see.

The locals gave him a hard time according to the editorial that was posted earlier.

I'm starting to doubt the mental problems...it sounds more like this guy is just plain pi****.

After having channel hopped for the past few hours, I can say that FNC has pretty much screwed this thing up & put out all kinds of information that has proven to be either questionable or wrong (wrong guy, wrong number of hostages, wrong report about no hostages inside when there still were).

Sad to say, MSNBC in particular (CNN a little bit better - at least on the number of hostages) appear at this point to have gotten things pretty much right all along, and they've had better live video. Better local affiliates? Straight info pipe to DNC folks & campaign staffers (they ARE the DNC after all)? Who's to say.

All I know is Fox is looking pretty stupid right now, which is sad cause I can't stand to watch either of the other two networks due to all the leftist whining & propaganda that "colors" everything they report.

I may be a little late at saying this, but don't want to look through 1500 posts to see if it's there.

First the Hillary campaign plants questions...now they're planting bombs.

What times we live in when crooked murderous (remember Vince Foster?) politicians are considered normal, and well intentioned young people are considered nuts and terrorists!

Yep. I’d say it looks like FOX screwed the pooch on this one, all right.

Your point about CNN/MSNBC being hardwired into the DNC thus getting better info is a VALID ONE.

when I left this thread it was some guy named Stanley.

So while I was over on another thread arguing fair and square, I come back and find it’s some guy named Eisenberg?

Damn...I gotta catch up.

Hmm. Carl Cameron wrong? Well, there is someone by the new name who was arrested by Rochester, NH police for "stalking" on April 2, 2007:

"7:51 p.m. --Leeland Eisenberg, 46, of [xxxx], is charged with two counts of stalking..."

Also there's a similar arrest for drunken driving noted in the same newspaper's listings, article June dated 11, 2007 .

But in case the media are wrong about the name, I'm not going to post more than those two items, which are public record.

Here are some of the other arrests for Rochester, NH, listed ont he same page. Some of these arrests are hilarious. Must be a very small town!:

Rochester Police Log – 4/3/07 to 4/9/07

Article Date: Friday, April 20, 2007

:ROCHESTER --The following items, based on entries in the Rochester Police Log, were selected from 1,133 incidents and calls for service for April 3 through 9:

Tuesday, April 3

1:15 a.m. --Loud music, yelling and screaming emanating from a Charles Street apartment is attributed to a boyfriend breakup.

9:28 a.m. --An e-mail comes in from Ray Drive asking “cat questions.”

1:03 p.m. --Leonard Squillacioti, 38, of 68 Moose Lane, is charged with criminal mischief.

1:56 p.m. --George and Ed's reports a female shoplifter has been caught with a $1.79 grocery item. Police are on scene in under 20 minutes.

2:20 p.m. --A black Honda Civic passes through the Rochester toll, heading north, with the driver passed out or asleep. A passenger is somehow driving.

2:54 p.m. --A Washington Street resident reports a burglary in which $50 and other items have been stolen, and calls back at 5:14 p.m. to find out if police are coming.

2:57 p.m. --A dirty, wet, thin, gray kitten is found on Rochester Terrace.

4:45 p.m. --On King Street a “friendly, neighborhood stray” blots its copybook by urinating on a house. The homeowner requests it be removed. The animal control officer explains the homeowner should take the cat to the Humane Society herself. This advice is logged as “service rendered.”
--A trap will be set up for a flea-infested cat in a Harrison Avenue barn.

They had some young guy and HE said it was Troy Stanley.

Fox screwed that up big time.

I understand about “newsmaker” and everything but just supposed somebody I knew went to the Fox guy on the scene and said...”I know who it is...It’s Pat Fish”....could I sue?
