Rape Suspect Forced To Wear Bizarre Mask After Outburst {Illegal alien again]

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- First, a homeless child rape suspect turned violent in a Seminole County courtroom. Then he was forced to wear a mask on his face to keep him from spitting, before the jury returned a guilty verdict late Thursday afternoon.

Antonio Rosales is accused of raping a 10-year-old girl. Before court could even begin Thursday, a judge had to decide if Rosales was competent to stand trial after a violent outburst Wednesday.

After a brief hearing Thursday, Rosales told a judge he wanted to be left out of the courtroom because he said he might lash out again. Initially, a team of deputies brought 41-year-old Antonio Rosales into the courtroom wearing a bizarre mesh head-covering and a mask. Authorities said they put it on him after he threatened to spit at people.

It was the second strange scene in two days. Wednesday afternoon, Rosales erupted in the courtroom as prosecutor Anna Valentini made her closing argument.

The illegal immigrant from Guatemala is on trial for the attempted murder and sexual battery of a 10-year-old girl in Casselberry in 2003. A court appointed doctor said Rosales was insulted by the allegation he's a child molester.

"This is someone who told me that was he is insulted," court-appointed doctor Jeffrey Danziger said.

Despite the outburst, the judge found Rosales competent to continue his trial. During that hearing, extra deputies surrounded Rosales, who promised to behave.

But, before the jury returned, Rosales asked to stay out of the courtroom so he wouldn't hear the same disturbing details of how prosecutors say he pulled a girl into the woods and tried to kill her four years ago.

"He strangled her so much it left bruises on her face and insect bites all over her body," Anna Valentini said in court Thursday.

Late Thursday afternoon, the jury returned a guilty verdict against Rosales on charges of kidnapping, attempted murder and sexual battery after deliberating for around two hours. Rosales faces a mandatory life sentence, but has to stand trial for murder in Arizona.

Imported POS is competent enough to be executed ASAP for his crimes. He’s a waste of oxygen. Rope or firing squad is good for him

Still, I like the thought of heavy, nasty, messy plaster...

That could be fun for the first few times; but, after awhile....(like dozens of scumbags later)....they may opt for the more 'old-fashioned' way of ROPE and just be done with it already.

ST, keep those trees ready!!

We don’t want to violate his civil rights. Just imprison him in a max security prison. Oh, we also don’t want to violate the civil rights of his fellow prisoners, so make sure they have newspapers to read. Going back to about the time of this guy’s trial is probably far enough back.

Oh, and then make sure he gets his fair share of privacy, so have the guards turn their backs to him at announced times during the day.

sickening, isn’t it?

What our OUR civil rights to be able to live in a society where criminals are put into jails, laws are enforced against law breakers? like, IMMIGRATION LAWS?

That would be a GOOD START!

Variety is good.

Also, it’s good to keep the slimey crook worried about the method. We can never replicate the fear they forced on their innocent victims; but we can keep trying.

Why isn’t this low-life on Death Row?
Mandatory life sentence? What the He** is that?
Florida does have a death penalty.
I certainly hope that the general prison population will give him the justice he deserves.

This is how he will meet his end. Child rapists don't last long in prison.

He’s being shipped straight to Arizona for another crime: sexual assault and murder he’s admitted to committing against an elderly woman in Tucson.

The President takes a lot of flak over the open border, some deserved, most not.

Read Texas' secession papers from before the Civil War. Back then it was wild Indians and Mexican banditry, now third worlders of dubious reputation. Same song, second (or third or fourth) verse.

If the likes of scott pederson do, in fact, suffer from CONSTANT fear in prison, there is a small amount of “justice.”

That could be fun for the first few times; but, after awhile.

With too much plaster, we may end up with Workers Comp issues among the bailiffs for back injuries.

Think we should stick with the rope. ;)

I respectfully disagree with your position that Bush deserves “most not” about the flak.

He has made Tancredo personna non grattis from almost day one. He has called the Minutemen vigilantes.

He has refused to follow through with what he wanted done while he was governor of Texas: have immigration laws enforced. He has not made it his agenda to make it happen, as the PEOPLE and this country needs and requires. Instead, he has his attorneys aggressively pursue those in Law Enforcement who have tried to make it happen. Signals sent and delivered.

Bush has reduced funding/people on the border. He limited their ability to defend our borders; commands were issued to “retreat” from the border given hostile situations with illegals and/or Mexican army personnel on U.S. Soil. He listens to and follows what Mexican leaders want.

Bush is very wrong on his border and immigration stances.

He falsely calls Islam a religion of peace and promotes that false claim.

For these things, and more, that he has said and done, he deserves more than coals upon his head.

Good morning.
“He strangled her so much it left bruises on her face and insect bites all over her body,”

That is a pretty strange statement, isn’t it.

Just take the POS out of the courthouse and hang him. Please.

I agree.

The rope had better be good quality though....we wouldn’t want the threads to break on the way down.....
