Simple really. Liberals do not believe in God. They think they created everything.

I would vote against it because it is absolutely pointless.
I would vote against it in protest of the time wasted. If liberals ever wanted to howl about violations of the first amendment*, this would be a good one.
*I realize this is a resolution and not a law, but I think the point stands.
It needs to be more inclusive. It doesn’t recognize the importance of homos or atheists. It doesn’t proclaim Islam as the religion of peace. It doesn’t apologize for the oppression of women or people of a any particular colored persuasion. It doesn’t begin to address the problem of imminent destruction we face because of global warming. And the children; how does it help the children.And what about Hiroshima? This is a non starter.
She will not be the only one.

What’s even worse is that these polit-tools actually believe that their vapid law will effect even the minutest of change among the neutered liberals, and to a much, much lesser degree, to the Christian devout.
The fact that congress has already voted on resolution honoring the contributions of two other faiths is going to make it hard for them to deny us this resolution.

If the House “rejects bigotry and persecution directed against Christians, both in the United States and worldwide”, is that actionable? Would it require actual rejection of such on their part?
I think it’s sad.
Sad we’ve come to this.
Sad that the hypocrats had two people supporting it while 49 Republicans did.
But on the other hand, it’s also sad that congress is wasting our time with this, because something like this is meaningless. ACLU types will still make it their life’s work to make it unbearable for Christians to live in this country.
Funny...the people that abhor laws that so much as recognize Christianity, however meaningless, but pay no attention whatsoever to rules/ laws etc. that tear it down.
