WASHINGTON -- Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee criticized the Bush administration's war against terrorism Friday, delivering a bold and potentially risky speech that could establish the former Arkansas governor as the maverick among top Republican candidates and test his party's loyalty to President Bush.
"This administration's bunker mentality has been counterproductive both at home and abroad," Huckabee said in opening a broad indictment of Bush's style and policy.

Is it just me, or does Huckabee sound exactly like Barrack Hussein Obama when he uses the DNC talking points to criticize Bush's foreign policy.

Never take sides against the family, Huck. Never let anyone outside the family know what you’re thinking.
This was a bad move.

If for some reasons he’s elected, I can see him cave in on every pressure that Pelosi puts on him.

...nothing like watching a politician troll for votes.
It’s like waking up the next morning and finding yourself in a strange bedroom with a stranger who looked fantastic the night before. The only good thing about it is...(.after checking your wallet), you can get out of there without stepping on the cat’s tail because your somewhat sober.

Can’t get to the link now without registering. I could swear, when I first read it, the date was 29th of Sept.
Did you just find the article? Was it a rehash, or did I read the date wrong on the headline?
Guess he wasn’t as popular in Sept., that this would be brought up??

Sometimes we need to be reminded that we haven't read everything published in the world, eh.
I for one am glad to see this at this time.

Dean without the scream.
Will get him more tv face time but a heckuva lot less primary votes. If posturing as a maverick by attacking Bush was good Republican politics Hagel wouldn't be sitting at home and McCain wouldn't be an also ran. Dumb move on a whole lotta levels.

I just found it today after reading a story that referenced Huckabee’s “bunker mentality” quote. It may have been published two months ago, but I don’t think anybody knew who the Huckster was at that point, So I think it needs to be pointed out.
