Wasn't there a thread on here last night about the Tamil Tigers making a political contribution to someone....?

Both N. Korean crews and Tamil terrorists were aboard the ships. They were all presumed to be killed.

Sri Lanka is a poor country. They can't afford their own off shore paradise for captured terrorists. I guess some people could look at the bright side though - at least none of the terrorists were water boarded.

As of Dec. 13, State Dept. is still standing by their official position that N. Korea has not engaged in terrorist activities since 1987.

That was a zinger.

Hello, Condi.

Earth to Condi.

Is anybody home in foggy bottom except traitors and liars?

The ships were 250 ft long, carrying Chinese artillery guns, ammunition, light weapons, and small arms.

Whoo Hoo, thank you China\s.

What other sneaky attacks on the US and others do you have up your sleeve? I'm sure we will know soon enough!

Like the IAF taking out the NK Nuke plant in Syria with US help, the story on this too will have to be suppressed by official channels.
The usual reactionary treason of MSN and DNC political opportunism would only hurt the mission if it became clearly substantiated.
Sad that winning the GWOT and protecting America has to be done on the sly.
Did I say sad?
I meant sick.

Good job, thanks for the translation and post.

Gotta wonder why the U.S> hasn’t taken credit for any of this?

Ships this large would be carrying enough people that out of six boats sunk, somebody would have been able to swim away. This says to me either the Ceylonese navy is being thorough and making sure there are no survivors; or the North Koreans are committing suicide rather then be captured.

Thinking back on the various incidents with North Korean smugglers being sunk by Australia, Japan, and South Korea, I don’t ever recall hearing of a survivor.

“As of Dec. 13, State Dept. is still standing by their official position that N. Korea has not engaged in terrorist activities since 1987.”

Very puzzling sentence since N.Korea didn’t become part of the Axis of Evil until 2002.

Well I certainly hope that none of these terrorists were “waterboarded”.... death and destruction is one thing, but let us be sure that no bloodthirsty terrorist is ever made to feel uncomfortable.

As for sinking N. Korean ships carrying armaments, great idea, and why haven’t we been doing the same when North Korea sends missiles, etc. to Iran and Syria???

Norinco uses soft steel. The lockup grooves on the barrel of my 1911 only lasted about 500 rounds. I switched to Colt and Para Ordinance.

Good for Sri Lanka.

This is an open secret.

The DPRK has been providing terrorist LTTE Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka with weapons/munitions/sea craft for a long time now. Hezbollah no doubt is also on the customer list.

There is evidence of DPRK weapons that were captured by the Sri Lankan goverment. I have seen photos of these weapons. They have North Korean markings.

In terms of other weapons and serious fire power, DPRK seems to be selling them 107mm Katyusha rockets fired from a lightweight tripod, a double tubed version only produced by the DPRK. It is rare, and weighs about 18kg and has a range of about 8km.

They will continue to provide this terrorist group these weapons.

This continues to make Kim Jong il's North Korea a de-facto "State Sponsor of Terrorism".

This, all the while Bush and Condi are actually working toward the end of REMOVING NORTH KOREA FROM THE U.S. TERROR LIST because most people in the USA are focused on Britney Spears or at best the Iowa caucuses. This indeed should be an issue in the caucuses. I would suspect DUNCAN HUNTER is one of a few men to do it. It SORELY needs to be done.

The Sri Lanka Navy website says the arms were clearly from the Chicoms.

Either way it's good work.
