Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s - and to God, the things that are God’s.

Huckabee is demonstrably far more liberal than any of the other first tier candidates on taxes

Actually, he cut and reformed the tax code more than any of the other upper tiered candidates with the exception of McCain.

And, did see where Huckabee opposed the war on terror, either.

taking the Stephen A. Douglas approach, for "states rights."

That was the huckster position up until a few months ago. His quote is posted here, on FR, stating it was a states rights issue, look it up.

LOL, those men are not campaigning as liberals, pledging liberal agendas, and policies, like Huck has done so well, so well that he has the MSM giving him a boost since he pledges non-partisanship. Not to mention his attitude, tone, and liberal ideas as CIC.

Liberals love Huck!

"Someone please explain to me again: why is this guy running as a Republican?"

He figures if a lying, liberal, party-destroying flip-flopping RINO Governor like Romney can do it, so can a lying, liberal, party-destroying flip-flopping RINO Governor like himself.

And what is better, to "flip-flop" one's stance to the better one, or to "have the guts to" cling to the morally weak stance?

Americans for Tax Reform, Grover Norquist on RG: “In looking at the records of all the Republican candidates, yours clearly stands out. You cut the income tax, business taxes, sales taxes, property-related taxes, and nuisance taxes. You are the most successful tax cutter in modern New York history and, on balance, the most successful tax cutter in the Republican field today. If you are elected president, I will look forward to working with you to reduce and reform taxes, restore fiscal discipline, increase government transparency, and pursue pro-growth policies that will improve America’s competitiveness in the global economy.”

Of course Huck calls the them the “CLUB FOR GREED”.

If FT can hang on, he has some good tax and SS plans at his website.

James Madison would no doubt agree:

Strongly guarded as is the separation between Religion & Govt in the Constitution of the United States, the danger of encroachment by Ecclesiastical Bodies may be illustrated by precedents already furnished in their short history.

Way back then, as a new voter, I fell for Carter and his “born again” talk. I’m smarter than that now.
Go Fred or Rudy!

Foreign Affairs has the essays of almost all candidates for comparison.

I have the same order of priorities. I just don’t trust a person who has to TELL me all about his faith.

Even a candidate who talks about his faith is fine, but then when he deliberately runs down another candidates faith for votes, is where it gets SICK.

That has to be the silliest statement I have heard yet from one of you shrilling for the huckster. When someone does a flip flop how do you know which side of the flip flop he's on. Will he change tomorrow, the next day, are did he change the day before and not tell you. The man is a lier so how can you believe him?

AND when he can’t even ACKNOWLEDGE another candidate. That’s just simple manners and common courtesy.

A liar? How? Is he also a Communist? A Nazi? Is he a spawn of Satan?

And I am not shilling for Huckabee, so are you a liar? Should anyone ever believe you, if you apologize?

including us in his activities

It might well be true, but taking what he said about Bush and this together makes him sound like a pouting child to me.
