Everything I read about Huck tells me I'd love him as a Pastor and hate him as a President. Aren't pastors supposed to tell the truth?
Huckabee: "I'm the only guy on that stage with a theology degree."

The Huckabee campaign:
"Governor Huckabee doesn't have a theology degree."

Clinton was much better at letting us know his plans and including us in his activities. He was always gracious and respectful You know... I can't stand Clinton and I would vote for ANYBODY before I'd vote for Hillary.... but do we have any reason to believe that this statement from him isn't true?

On Romney: "He mentioned how much he respected his fellow candidates John McCain and Rudolph W. Giuliani. The name of his principal rival in Iowa, Mitt Romney, went unmentioned."
So, really, the comment wasn't "On Romney" at all. I don't support Huckabee as I think he's a fiscal liberal and comfortable with big government, but he's in a damned if you and damned if you don't with respect to Romney and Mormonism. If he says nothing about it, that makes a statement. If he talks about it, it is interpreted as an attack.

Hucky seems a lot like another Govenor of Arkansas.
I don’t need another President or “First Lady” from Arkansas.
Politics in Little Rock create egos that put them above representing the best interests of most Americans.

Man, if liberals (ie the MSM) were afraid of Bush’s Christianity, they are going to just tear Huck apart. His ridiculous statements have already alarmed me- and I’m a Christian.

Come to think of it, Huckabee isn't fit to be dog catcher. Looks like his sadistic son never had to answer for hanging a dog:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1940049/posts
-snip-
"Without question, [Huckabee] was making a conscious attempt to keep the state police from investigating his son," says I. C. Smith, the former FBI chief in Little Rock,
-snip-
[Huckabee] told NEWSWEEK THAT his son did not engage in "intentional torture." "There was a dog that apparently had mange and was absolutely, I guess, emaciated."

And at some point, Republican elites will begin to ask, Is what we need a smallstate governor who doesn’t believe in Darwin?'’’ What kind of people hold to the religious devotion that causes them to "believe in Darwin?"

Me, too. And I’m a God-fearing and -loving Catholic. You’re right the MSM will tear him apart later. I realize that he’s trying to get a particular group of people to vote for him, but I’ve never seen anyone push it quite like this before.

" 'Richard Land swoons for Fred Thompson,' he said. 'I don’t know what that’s about."
I don't know, either, since Thompson hedges on Abortion and Defense of Marriage, refusing to back thoroughgoing federal action and instead taking the Stephen A. Douglas approach, for "states rights."

I wonder if you all that are complaining about Huckabee being liberal will ALSO criticise the ENTIRE First Tier from Rudy to McCain and INCLUDING Romney!?? A good question. In fact, Huckabee's record is more conservative that Giuliani or Romney. And, he is the only true social conservative among the bunch.
