"Cool that you saw the same thing, but I didnt see your post. Mine came right from here: http://www.mentalhealth.com/dis1/p21-pe07.html"Um, I didn't just "see it, too". Narcissistic Personality Disorder has been in the DSM (psychological diagnostic criteria manual) since 1989, and my education is in Behavioral Science.

"I came of voting age in 1964 and was an ardent supporter of Goldwater. This piece was written for that race for sure. Anyone remember the daisy ad with the mushroom cloud in the background?"I do. I was a kid at the time, but I remember. And you are absolutely right. It is the same.
Once you create this hysterical fear of a candidate, then no facts matter anymore and people will believe anything about them.

The part I find fascinating here is that another Goldwater is now supporting the one this article was written about. Go figger. Go Ron Paul
To: Bokababe
Sorry dawnbt, don’t take ‘just saw it’ the wrong way. I was referring to coming to the same conclusion for a similar situation.

Oh yes, this is so universal. Old communists were amateurs in comparison with current elites.

[A very rare double-ping...]
As a sinister
Nazi zeppelin shimp-shaped blimp casts its dark shadow over Maryland today to descend tomorrow upon the unwitting
victims voters of New Hampshire...
Pull out the plastic, folks. We need the last $100K by tomorrow to conduct our full Blimp Of Terror tour.
Reporters were flying on it today (coverage tomorrow), traffic stopped in many metro areas to gawk at it, lots of positive response from our ground troops doing sign-wavings and slimjim-handouts. IT is creating excitement for the public and for our ground troops.
Dr. Paul has all the money he needs for the time being. The grassroots needs its Blimp Of Death
now.
It's the Revolution, baby. And remember, giving now is even sweeter when you see the other candidates living on borrowed money in Iowa, not knowing where their next quiche is coming from. And we have Ron Paul rolling in money, unable to spend it all. Our huge mailings in NH are going well, and we're on target for Dr. Paul's 30-minute infomercial upcoming in Iowa.
Blimp!

"If Ron Paul didn't take Soros money for 20 plus years in Congress when so many were feeding at the Soros trough, why would he start now?" That's just silly. He's taking it because it's being given to him by people who claim to be his supporters. And it is being given to him.

Well that proves it for me.
BTW, 65505 americans donated to Ron Paul. 29077 are new donors. The campaign 6,542,549.32 for the week and just at 18,463,624.62 for the 4Q.
The 4Q goal was 12MM. Guess Soros has been writing a lot of checks. s/

So you accept the fact that he is receiving money from Soros groups.
Good. That’s a good first step.
Soros’s motive are not clear, but they can’t be honorable.
I suspect that he’s trying to set Paul up for a third party run, thinking it will split enough votes off from the Republican nominee to create another “Ross Perot Effect” andelect Hillary.

That’s one version of the letter. In the other version, it’s signed by the Elders of Zion.

Soros and Rupert Murdoch are in the tank for Hitlery. Giuliani is (or was) their backup plan.
Our fundraising records are widely published in real-time. There are no Soros employees donating to us or it would be known by now. The leaders of the Left, just as at Kos and the DUmmies, hate Ron Paul but can't keep some of their members from supporting him.

"Uh, Congressman, you know, uh, Gov Huckabee is not selling fascism, he's sending a Christmas message." Or
"Uh, Congressman, you know, uh, Gov Huckabee is not selling fascism, even though the panning camera picks up the distinct image of a cross that appears because it was purposefully lit that way...and now denies that there was a cross in his Christmas message."
Of course, Steve Ducy is more apt at witty one-liners than astute political analysis, but Paul wasn't saying the ad was fascist. He said it reminded him of a quote by Sinclair Lewis.
Considering that the Huckster denies that there was a cross in the ad in the first place, but all of his defenders, unable to deny the obvious, say there was and, "so what?" It seems Ron Paul nailed the "stupid and easily lead" Republican candidate, but due to your irrational hatred of Paul you can't see it.

"So you accept the fact that he is receiving money from Soros groups. Good. Thats a good first step."No, but you just proved your conclusion-jumping tendencies beyond all doubt, with that one.
"I suspect that hes trying to set Paul up for a third party run, thinking it will split enough votes off from the Republican nominee to create another Ross Perot Effect and elect Hillary."
Ron Paul is not Ross Perot. Ron Paul IS a Republican and has been a Republican in the US House for 20 years. Quit treating him like he is an outsider third-party candidate in this race, when he is clearly not.(And yes, I do know about his previous run as a Libertarian. Ronald Reagan was a Democrat once, too! So what!)
And like him or hate him, one thing Ron Paul has always been is true to his word. If he says he's not running as a third party candidate, he's not running as a third party candidate -- as much as many of his supporters would like to see it otherwise.

While I can not dispute your statement regarding Soros employees, I have my doubts that you can prevent donations from second person sources.
I’m not so much suggesting that RP is taking Soros money knowingly and willingly as I’m suggesting that Soros is funneling money into the campaign as an attempt to create a third party.
In the end, the results of the coming primary votes will be most interesting.

Unlike most of the people you’ve no doubt dealt with on these threads, I am not a rabid anti-Paul person.
I have enough in my life to keep me busy, so I won’t be ripping your guy like you might suspect.
I’m just voicing my concern about Soros and thethird party scenario.
I wish you good luck in your efforts to elect your candidate.
After all, being a Duncan Hunter supporter, I’ve had my share of kicks.

"It seems Ron Paul nailed the "stupid and easily lead" Republican candidate, but due to your irrational hatred of Paul you can't see it."Do you know that Huck has no position whatever on the US relationship with Russia? None, zippo, I've looked. And there's little on his opinion of our relationship with the EU.
If Huck wins the nomination and he's the best we've got, Hillary will bury him.

If anyone is thinking about running as a major third party candidate, it would be Michael Bloomberg. Depending on who wins on Super Tuesday, may determine if he gets in.
As a Hunter supporter, can you tell me if he knocked Tancredo in the head for endorsing Romney? He should have if he didn’t.
Ron Paul’s campaign has a big tent, they just opened the doors for any and all Tancredo supporters. If Hunter does not make it, you guys are all invited in as well.

"I wish you good luck in your efforts to elect your candidate. After all, being a Duncan Hunter supporter, Ive had my share of kicks."And you in yours, Hunter is a good man. There is much on which both Paul & Hunter agree -- pro-life, anti-illegals amnesty, the fence, etc. Of course, we both have our opinions of who is "better". ;>)
But there is much that can be learned and refined in civil and respectful discourse within a party, even when you disagree.
Funny, because it was just a few weeks ago that I was sitting on the fence still unsure of who to support, until I start defending reasonable arguments from Paul's people against this slime-slinging from Paul-haters. Next thing you know, here I am!
