Actually based on little things called intellectual honest and factual reality, this needs to be labeled as more Paul-bot Whining.

Is Houston home for you?

My family will be wisking through Houston on our way to Lafayette LA on Sunday. I hope the weather will be nice.

Yep, Houston is home. It is sunny and in the mid-70s today - I'm loving it!

Sunday is supposed to be clear and cool - highs only in the 50s. But I'm headed to DC that day for a few days where a lot of my family is - and I'm sure it will be much COLDER there.

Have a wonderful and safe trip to Lafayette!

I know, I can’t wait for my Soros’ refund check. Did you know he gives us 25% on TOP of what we donated? It’s an amazing deal.

I wish, I’m broke. It just bugs me that because I think Ron Paul, for all his faults, is the best man for the job, I’m (according to some on this site) a White Supremacist/Truther/Surrender Monkey/whatever name someone wants to call me.

10 years ago, half of Freeperdom would be begging for Ron Paul. It’s unfortunate that today, people that support him are cast in such a terrible light. I mean, you yourself probably agree with 9/12 of his positions.

For the record, I’ve never used those words on any Freeper. Not my nature.

I am suspicious of Soros, the Ron Paul phenomena and politicians in general. And will continue to be.

Merry Christmas!

Oh I wasn’t accusing you of saying any of those things (at least I hope I didn’t).

Are we accusing Soros of being the most diabolical planner in the history of American politics? He disagrees with Paul on 99/100 issues, that one issue being the war. Why wouldn’t he just give that 16 mil to Obama or Hillary?

And really, I don’t think anyone that supports Hillary is smart enough to come up with some fiendish plan to funnel 16 million bucks to some 2nd tier republican candidate on the off chance his campaign will take fire and make a race of it, derailing Romney or Guiliani. Fact is, no one is that smart. In the end, the simplest explanation is probably the correct one. A bunch of 20 somethings are tired or having the government tell us how to live our life, and yes, many don’t like the idea of a 60 year old man telling our friends to go off to war when it is not completely necessary.

Dont get me wrong, I’m not debating the merits of this war, It is my hope to go overseas sometime soon. But I have alot of friends who simply want government out of their lives, and they donate whatever they can give, be it 10 dollars, or 100 dollars. The war is not why I support Paul, I in fact tend to disagree with him over the war. It’s just no other candidate has taken the same stance against big government.

I had a thought a second ago, I’ll try to get it down before it escapes me... This isn’t really to you, I just wanted to write it down.

People near my age didn’t grow up during the cold war, we learned about it in history books. We don’t really view the world through the exact same prism as older generations. We came of age after 9-11, but we view it as a punch in the mouth, and essentially the best a bunch of backwards goatherders can do. We see our friends go off to war, and whup some butt, like butt has never been whupped befire in the history of the world. We are not really concerned about the Arabs.

And yes, we are idealistic, and that will likely be tempered by time, I think unfortunately. When a man stand up and says, “I will eliminate the IRS, the DOE, and a variety of other departments” we stand up and say, that is what I want for my future. That is where Ron Paul’s support comes from.

We are tired of the Bushes and the Clintons, I myself cannot remember a time that a Bush or a Clinton was not in office. Hell, if Hillary wins 2 terms, I could be 30 YEARS OLD before I see the day when someone else is in office. Thats almost time for Jenna Bush or Chelsea Clinton to start running for office. That is why we donate money, that is why we hang signs and make fools of ourselves for Ron Paul. He is the only politician that stands up and wants to bring us closer to our founder’s vision. All anyone else wants to do is slow our journey towards socialism.
