Curious way to chose a candidate. ;^)

Oh well, to each his own.

Merry Christmas!

***Funny, because it was just a few weeks ago that I was sitting on the fence still unsure of who to support, until I start defending reasonable arguments from Paul’s people against this slime-slinging from Paul-haters. Next thing you know, here I am!***

Welcome aboard. I was converted a few months back for the same exact reason. LOL

Funny, the Paul haters really don’t know how well they are recruiting for Ron Paul. After reading some of the arguments, I started reading up on RP. Convinced me.

Maybe the Paul haters actually work for the Ron Paul campaign.

While I can not dispute your statement regarding Soros employees, I have my doubts that you can prevent donations from second person sources.

I can hardly deny it. I've discovered several ways to evade McCain-Feingold myself. But none of them involve anyone except RP supporters. I'm still working on how to raise foreign money and use it for our fun little side projects like the Blimp Of Death. Admittedly, international is more problematic. Our Brit contingent is especially eager to help. And those Belgian kids are just great! You should see their videos. What a great message they have.

Ron Paul, the least internationalist and least Wilsonian of any Republican in the last century, has tremendous appeal internationally. It's just amazing. And the Swedish RP supporters that campaigned for him outside Owl Gore's hotel at the Nobel ceremony? Man, that was awesome. Lovers of liberty and small-government, opponents of the socialist nanny state and the EU superstate. Great kids.

We have some great Americans overseas helping RP as well. We're strong in Japan and Korea too.

No other candidate in either party has had such a foreign following since, well, maybe ever. I guess maybe JFK had foreign support once he became president though.

I've seen worse ways! But in fact, I always liked Paul's spunk and integrity, so it's not a total surprise.

Merry Christmas to you, too!

And you in yours, Hunter is a good man. There is much on which both Paul & Hunter agree -- pro-life, anti-illegals amnesty, the fence, etc. Of course, we both have our opinions of who is "better". ;>)

I've said it before, I'll say it again: without Hunter ramming through that fence bill in 2006, our loss of the House would have been an utter bloodbath for the GOP.

No matter what, you can never take that away from Duncan. Tanc couldn't have gotten it done, Ron Paul couldn't either.

The party does owe a debt, unacknowledged by the RNC, to Duncan's actions there to salvage the party's seats after some of Bush's and Rumsfeld's boneheaded moves. Duncan is a loyal party man. And if his anti-tax and anti-spending record can't quite match Tanc's and Ron Paul's, well, as chairman of Armed Services Committee, he had to actually cut deals to meet policy objectives. He didn't have quite the luxury of an utterly principled purist position because he had to make compromises and pass bills. And if our party had listened to him more often than they listened to Bush and Rove and Rumsfeld, we'd probably still hold at least one house of Congress right now.

None of us think Duncan or Tanc are perfect, any more than we think it of Ron Paul. But they are all, each in his own way, great conservatives of the GOP and they have been very effective even if none of the RNC party bigwigs will give them the time of day. But we know. We remember.

Their small exchanges with RP in the debates aside, they're both good men, good Republicans, good conservatives. And I'm not saying that now just hoping to grab a couple of their voters at FR. I've said it for a long time as have many other RP supporters. And I say the same if every Tanc and Duncan supporter vows never to say a nice word about RP. What I've said about Duncan and Tanc is still true. I'm very glad we have had both of them in the House. I regret their retirement but they have done their job well and never backed down an inch. They have more spine than most of the GOP in D.C. combined.

You've heard the song that the British Camelot's Castle dedicated to Ron Paul & (ironically) the Tea Party. The video is here It resched # 1 on UK You Tube.

As a Hunter supporter, can you tell me if he knocked Tancredo in the head for endorsing Romney?

And how. What the heck is up with that?

Nice try though, but you are probably the only Paultard who got it wrong. Wow, that puts you way down there, as if there were any more room down there.

LOL!

Sorry, but the evidence points the other way, considering you're the one who puts the apostrophe after the 08 and doesn't seem to be able to read.

While I might question the existence of a media Czar, this so called letter from the so called media Czar expresses precisely what the MSM continues to do regarding Dr. Paul.

Someone posted a link to an ad Tancredo made in July, criticizing the stance Romney had on immigration and border security.

Now he endorses him. Guess Romney flipped flopped over to Tancredo’s side? Maybe he said he appreciated Tancredos stance on immigration and would seek the advice of his many attorneys he planned to employ while president? Maybe he offered him a job. That is probably it.

Welcome aboard. You have made a good choice to support freedom. “Freedom is popular.” Dr. Ron Paul.

"I’m just voicing my concern about Soros and thethird party scenario."

I've heard this before from some Paul bashers.

IMO, the Soros angle doesn't make sense. Soros is very much a globalist, and his support for leftist causes is well known. So no, I can't see Soros promoting Paul in any way.

As for the third party scenario, I can see why you would suspect it because Ron Paul did run on a third party once. However, in this case he is running as a Republican, and has publicly stated several times that he won't.

I believe him.

The Media Czar is always someone you never suspect. Perhaps Willard Scott?

Yes, their attacks were so irrational and bitter that they pushed me over to his side also.

(chuckle)

Actually, the fact is Ron Paul no longer warrants much attention. Its pretty obvious to everyone not wearing tin foil hats he’s a none factor in the GOP primaries, and will go third party soon.
