Rice Rejects Huckabee Criticism--Huckster Bodyslam Alert

WASHINGTON (AP) - In a brief foray into politics, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Friday denounced comments by a leading Republican presidential candidate that the Bush administration's foreign policy is arrogant and unilateral.

"The idea that somehow this is a go-it-alone policy is just simply ludicrous," she said at a State Department news conference. "One would only have to be not observing the facts, let me say that, to say that this is now a go-it-alone foreign policy."

Her remarks came in response to a question about criticism from former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who has surged in the polls to become a front-runner in the upcoming Iowa caucuses for the GOP presidential nomination. Huckabee recently said the administration's foreign policy was characterized by a "bunker mentality."

Despite some missteps, I still have great respect for her abilities. She can wait to be the NFL commissioner. I want THOMPSON/RICE in 2008.

You are not going to win primary voters by attacking the Bush administration.

That depends on the issue of the attack. To attack the current administration on the border should enhance the attacker to conservatives.

How long before we hear ? :

“I love Condolezza Rice; I’ve always loved her role in the State Department,” Huckabee assured. “I think she’s been great for the this country.”

“I don’t have her number,” Huckabee explained. “If you have it why don’t you give it to me. I’d love to talk to her.”

“Maybe put it on the Web that if she’ll call me, I’d love to visit with her.”

I wish the people in Iowa will soon wake up and kick Huckabeee out of the race.

“If only time is going to tell then why bother giving opinions on something?”

It’s no bother for me to give opinions.

Huckabee is an idiot. The coalition consists of 49 member countries whose combined population is 1.23 billion people, so his accusation of unilateralism is a flat-out lie.

Wow, finding a picture with Condi smiling is a rare treat indeed. The MSM only publishes pictures where she appears to be snarling or re-living her last strangling of an underling:

The scary thing is that I don’t think the message about Huckabee is getting out fast enough. Many evangelicals will vote for him, just because he is a minister, without seriously examining his liberal, Clintonesque record.

There are a million posts on this thread so maybe someone already picked up on this but I wish she would be that harsh on the people in politics who are working to see the US defeated by Al Qaeda.

Yep, Bush has a bunker mentality. How do we know that’s true? Because the msm has told us so repeatedly! And we all know how accurate and integrity driven those folk are.

Same goes for Condi Rice. The media has told us what to think about what her part in this administration’s approach is all about, so... who are we to question the wisdom and all knowingnessness of people with real journalism degrees?

Try (re)reading the entire comment. Here it is with a little help in red:

She better watch herself!

If Huckabee can ask "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?" what make her presume he can't also fire a few questions her way.

Like... "Don't Presbyterians believe the Pope is the Antichrist and the Roman Catholic Mass is idolatry?"

If Condi is looking for religious war, the "only candidate with a Theology degree" is the one to give it to her.

You being on FR for 9 years, can I figure you know what that means?

"f Huck keeps hawking his snake-oil, beating the preachers drum...even the silly grandmas who are listening to him now will bolt."

... and if either these grandmas would get their news from someplace other than CBS/NBC/ABC or CBS/NBC/ABC stop building Huckabee up for a fall against the eventual MSM/Dem candidate.

That lady has done more to enable Jew-killers than any other person I know.

And there is a special place reserved for people like that...

No, more like funding terrorist groups like Fatah. Demanding Israel release terrorists, provide arms to terrorists, and to not defend itself from terrorist attacks.

HAMAS being in charge of Gaza is her direct handiwork. Therefore, the rockets that HAMAS fires into Israel from Gaza is a result of her handiwork. And so are the Israeli deaths from those rockets. As is the kidnapped Israeli soldiers.

Thanks a F*#King bunch, Rice.

(Knowingly enabling murdering scum gets you a special place in the afterlife.)

If Rice ran for President under the Republican ticket, you’d see me pull out of the Republican party. For I’ll not be a member of a party who finds her views on Israel to be acceptable.

She is working to destroy Israel and kill Jews, and for that, she should be in prison, not public office (as an accessory to murder).

Rice demanded that Israel ‘allow’ the Palestinians to have free elections... which then promptly saw HAMAS voted into power. Then HAMAS kicked Fatah out of Gaza.

Why do you omit that piece of information?

Then, I take it, you are an avid supporter of the destruction of Israel.

For Rice has worked tirelessly to see THAT happen.

After over 10 years on this forum, I challenge you to find one sentence in which I was not a supporter of Israel. This Catholic believes that the protection of the Jewish homeland is paramount. If she served under Fred, she would be listening to him instead of Bush. A different boss makes all the difference in the world.
