The media told us Hillary was inevitable. The media told us Rudy was a sure thing. Now they are telling us the Huckster is going to be a big winner.

What the pollsters do is try to get every person who is polled to have an opinion. Pollsters never ask who are you going to vote for on election day. If they did most people would say... I haven't made up my mind. What the pollsters do is ask "If the election were held today which of the following list of candidates would get your vote? Out of the list of possible candidates the person polled tends to select the most famous nam.e

The winner is almost always the candidate that has gotten the most recent media attention. It has next to nothing to do with which candidate will get their vote on election day.

If Huckabee goes down to a massive defeat the media will tell you the attacks on him by Rush and others was very effective. If Huckabee wins they will tell you the attacks did not work.

In reality a large number of actual voters will not even decide to vote or whom to vote for until they are contacted by the candidate's supporters that go door to door and run phone banks in the final 72 hours of each states race.

Ground Games win Primaries. The media is almost always clueless.

Sounds like Huck’s not making friends in Michigan with what sounds like a push-poll, with a number that apparently caller ID’s to a company not the polling company, according this this site’s info:

First someone will need to teach the husckster what an issue is. He pretty well bombed out on foreign policy.LOL

Actually, the Huckster's foreign policy is well known to many of us, and the rest are catching on as we or others 'enlighten them.' FYI, the Huckster's a member of CFR, and is a KNOWN globalist. THAT, IMO, is a campaign killer! We are losing our sovereignty because of the globalists in DC, and I'll be dipped if I'm going to vote for another one.

"They love him most for the enemies he has made," and in Huckabee's case, his supporters might well be thinking the same thing.

I agree, the DNC, MSM, British press, ...

The joke is that those arrayed against him are the same ones that have tried to sell us on the idea that we need to vote for whoever is highest in the polls because he “can win.” Now we have a guy who is gaining popularity, showing that he can win over voters, and now all of a sudden principle matters. In other words, it’s their principles that matter, not ours. We are not supposed to care about social conservative issues. Those should be up for sale. We are supposed to care about war and business. That’s pretty much it.

I’m part of the “evangelical choir” that he’s preaching to and I see right through it. Don’t lump all Christians into the idiot crowd just because this guy seems to be doing well for now.

Same here, including my whole family.

There is just something about the Huckster that comes across as so insincere, something akin to the "I feel your pain" character of Bill Clinton.

It is easy to spot if you pay attention.

If Duncan Hunter gets to the primaries in Virginia—I’m going to vote for him.

Didn’t he already miss the deadline for filing?

Garbage!

We want the whole package, concern for social issues coupled with a sincere desire and plan to solve the illegal alien issue, fiscal conservatism, the correct approach to the Global Warming scam, and a adult approach to the WOT.

Except for the Social Issues, the Huckster is far left of the mark for the issues I have mentioned above.

It is hard to see ‘the real person’ through the facade of the MSM.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION, CUT, MAKEUP.

Lights placed to highlight cross shape of a bookshelf.

Cameras giving unknowns their 15 minutes of Fame on Youtube/CNN.

Action at or near the HRC HQ in New Hampshire with the Demo-Bomber.

Cut when Bill Clinton rants on during a talk show, digging a deeper hole for Hillary.

Makeup for Hillary and the Breck Girl.

Yeah, there’s something about his whole views supporting higher taxes, socialized medicine, shutting down Gitmo to make the terrorists happy, and his Moveon.org-ish attacks against the President that make me a little bit uncomfortable.

Other than those main issues, he’s a GREAT conservative. /sarcasm.

I got that push pull. When I answered Fred Dalton Thompson was who I was likely to vote for the robo-poll went into a series of questions.

Would you consider voting for Mike Huckabee knowing Fred Thompson will not commit to tax cuts?

...there were about 5 such "would you consider voting for Mike Huckabee if you knew this - insert distortion or outright lie here - about Fred Thompson" questions.

I'm a "friend of fred" and know his positions very well, but fear these aweful push polls taint those not close to the campaign.

Mike Huckabee and his push poll is an abomination of the election process and has defined him with first hand knowledge as a scumbag lying loser of a candidate. At the end it said the poll was not associated with any campaign. HA! What was all that Mike Huckabee stuff?

“He preaches to the evangelical choir and is counting on his typical supporter to not have the interest or inclination to check his record.”

The problem is he wouldn’t have that choir to preach to if the other two big polling candidates weren’t a plastic phony, and a guy who makes Bill Clinton’s escapades look like those of a choirboy. Seriously, what did the Republicans think the social cons were going to do? You can only keep dissing a voting bloc and stringing it along for so long.

So forget about "love your brother"? You have a candidate to push and if your Christian brother chooses a different candidate, he's an idiot?

I want to vote for a conservative Republican, not one who calls himself one, yet whose record is liberal and more like a Democrat’s.
