Well I guess you have your own definition of “normal”. Two items that crossed the line for me was 1) the question to the NY Times writer and 2) the floating cross ad. On 1) the best Huckabee could say was that he was ignorant (and I don’t buy that) and on 2) pretending they didn’t know what they were filming to me is just dishonest. There were many who liked the way Bill Clinton related to “normal” people too.

First of all, Rush never said that. Why must Huckabee supporters insist on spinning everything? What he said was Huckabee was engaging in identity politics. Sorry, but he is. I've an evangelical Christian and every Huckabee supporter I know has started the conversation by saying they support him and I should support him because he is "one of us."
Second, Rush hasn't endorsed anyone. And "conservative" is based upon positions, not identity.
I am open to consider a rational argument why I should support Huckabee, but I've yet to find a Huckabee supporter prepared to offer it.
Honestly, I don't even listen to Rush. I just find it hilarious that you apparently spend time seeking out articles merely for the purpose of hijacking them to bash Rush.

Huckabee seems like a mystery candidate. It’s hard to grasp what he supports (on some issues), and thus the highlighted opinions show him in a better light...then he perhaps deserves.

I was actually telling the truth, but in this case it doesn't matter whether I listen to Rush or not. The fact remains, you appear to have an unhealthy obsession with Rush Limbaugh. You may want to seek help for that.
By the way, I think most FR readers can understand the difference between saying "anyone who votes for Huckabee is basing it on 'identity' politcs" and "Huckabee is engaging in identity politics."
