I need to run some errands and will be away from my PC for a while. In my absence feel free to continue your barely-coherent ranting at all things associated with Rush.
A pre-9/11 Presidential candidate
Who would have thought that we could see
A prez as weak as Huckabee?
Another Clinton, who when pressed,
Will not defend the brave, free West.
“Fools rush in,” it’s often said.
But wimpy men can make us dead.
At least he didn’t name any of the birds Putin!
The magician plays the game of keeping your focus over here on this hand while hes doing something with the other one, said Huckabee. And I think people understand that slight of hand is not why you elect a president.
A journalist jumped in and said Huckabee just accused Romney of being a magician.
No I didnt, said Huckabee to a group of laughing gaggle. There you go again, you guys are always putting words in my mouth. Im going to load this thing up right here, he said looking down at his gun.
Seem’s to me the ole Huckster was talking about himself.
But his record in Arkansas proves that the Huckster is NO CONSERVATIVE.
Anyone who has a record of raising taxes, then turns around and tries to whitewash his record by pretending to be a Fair Tax supporter is not conservative.
Anyone who uses class-warfare rhetoric to bash their political enemies (eg. 'Club for Greed') is not conservative.
Anyone who makes political hay out of the so-called 'CEO-to-line-worker pay disparity' is not conservative.
Anyone who supports the nanny state (eg. nationalizing state smoking regulations) is not conservative.
Anyone who accuses the current Republican administration of not being diplomatic enough with Iran (eg. the 'bunker mentality' comment), while we are engaged in a global war against Islamonazi terrorists is not conservative.
Anyone who issues twice as many pardons and commutations to criminals (some of whom have gone out and committed violent crimes after their release) as all 3 previous Arkansas governors combined (one of whom was Bill Clinton) is not conservative.
Please, one-issue (abortion) voters, wake up. The Huckster needs to be taken down now, in the primaries, before he can inflict lasting damage to the Republican Party, the conservative movement, and (by ensuring a 'Rat victory in November) America.
Is Huckabee ready to be President? IMO, hes out of his league. But at least he’s embraced Jesus, God Bless Him.
Merry Christams Dane...Pandora
“My wife and I are both Huck fans. I love how he relates with normal people.”
How are you defining ‘normal’? Those who refuse to look at his record? Huckabee is a charlatan.
Because Huckabee is running an identity campaign: vote for what he is, not for what he's done. If you're running an identity campaign, then every question is a personal attack.
Sorry it should have read Merry Christmas Dane...I have this new rubber keyboard & its strange typing on it. ~P~
God forbid that Huckabee had a cross in the back ground of a CHRISTmas ad. LOL. Never forget that it is us Christians who keep the Republican party afloat. It is us “Right Wing Christian Nut-Jobs” that man phones, knock on doors and hand out issue cards in our Sunday services. What silly reason not to vote for a guy that has a bookshelve in the background that may or may not be a subliminal reference to Christ’s cross in the meaning of a CHRISTmas ad. Plain childish.
But if your point is valid, why didn’t Huckabee say that? Instead, he went on attack. He belittled the point by talking about playing the record backwards. If your point is an intellectually honest point just say, yeah that was clever how they worked that symbol of the Christian holiday in there at a time when we like to remember it? But he didn’t explain his point. He grew defensive, played the victim and derided because all it represents is identity politics. It would be the same if Obama were to say, vote for me, I’m African American on MLK Day or Hillary says vote for me I’m a woman on any day? That’s what I mean about identity politics.
Of course the liberal media is encouraging this modern day Elmer Gantry like they did to John McCain of pre-nomination 2000, salivating at the opportunity to skewer him should he become the nominee. They are compiling a long list as we speak. God save the republicans if Huckabee is the nominee.
And a Merry Christmas and a joyous and prosperous New Year to you Pandora.
And don't worry about the typos, I make them a lot of times myself.
Amamzing isn't it. A lot of Freepers made more of a fuss about the commercial than the MSM did.
Things that make you go hmmmm.
Bud Light presents:
...(Real men of genius)
Today we salute you, Mr. Mike Huckabee paid FR campaign shill!
...(Mr. Mike Huckabee paid FR campaign shill)
What does a liberal Republican do when he is afraid to face grass roots conservatives himself? He pays his coffee and errand boy minimum wage to do it for him
...(skim milk with three sweet and lows)
Sitting in a cubicle at campaign headquarters you search Conservative websites like the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Salon, CNN and Daily Kos looking for favorable articles about the Huckster to post on FR
...(oooh, here's one from DU!)
Armed with nothing but talking points from Hucks' website, you attempt to convince conservatives that your candidate is not a Christian socialist or a pro-life Democrat
...(Jesus would want amnesty for illegals)
When FReepers say Huck is a fiscal liberal, algore loving environmental wacko, open border amnesty pusher, Jimmy Carter foreign policy appeaser, nanny state smoker banner you provide the brilliant original response...a link to his campaign website
...(copy, paste, copy, paste)
Conservatives? We don't need no stinkin' Conservatives!
...(Highly overrated)
All we need is a leftist who is pro-life, has an R next to his name, and talks about Jesus.
...(Praise the Lord!)
So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Karl Rove of the blogosphere, because when a FReeper runs for office, we'll be calling you...

Post #2: What a cheesy puff piece by SeeBS
Seems we have a difference of opinion here...
Personally, I think Post #1 reflects a certain paranoia while Post #2 represents a more realistic assessment of the journalistic product.
BTW, Coors light is much better than Bud light.
