You should cite “conservatives” like Bork instead. You know, the guy who doesn’t think the 2nd amendment is about the RKBA, and who called the 9th amendment a meaningless inkblot.

Gaaah, Bork's an idiot. Bork doesn't believe in natural rights - so essentially he thinks we have whatever rights the government allows us to have, when its expedient.

I’d say LOL, but it makes me want to cry instead.
It doesn’t exist except as a notional (and necessary in VERY limited cases) emergency power for the undisputed public good AND need. Possibly the worst decision since Roe v. Wade. It led numerous state governor’s to forswear its invocation. Close second was the Court’s upholding of McCain-Feingold, the outrageous, anti-American gag order designed to perpetuate the political class. It is THE reason I will not support McCain, who is a true hero in my mind (as well as a USNA grad). If he can participate in something that misguided which undermines our country’s most sacred right (it dwarfs the amnesty nonsense), I shudder to think what he can do from the bully pulpit.
