Being a smoker is hardly the apiosis of conservatism. Most, if not nearly all conservatives, support freedom over slavery. Do you personally disagree?

Have we now reached the nadir of name calling? Quick, light up? you may still find a self serving response which makes you feel good about yourself, even though it will hardly give true credit to this supurb conservative web site.

I'd say majority. There are, however, a significant minority that want to use the government to eliminate behaviors that bother them. This is hardly a person who appreciates freedom.

Why celebrate an addiction? Because there's a bigger principle involved.

Are you a person who supports freedom, as opposed to anarchy, or are you a libertine who embraces anarchy, which is opposed to conservatism?
To: Sursum Corda
I guess you haven’t figured out yet that you are messing with the wrong person.
I’ll give you an out. You’ve spoken your peace.
Now sing the Skinnard lyrics:
Give me three steps,
Give me three steps mister,
Give me three steps towards the door

Name me that principle. Further, explain to me how an avouded conservative can embrace personal slavery.
To: NaughtiusMaximus
How did you do that? One second behind me and you picked right up on my keyword. lol

Black is white. Up is down. Slavery is liberty.
Welcome to 1984.

Insane is you. What does “avouded” mean anyway?

I believe that government exists to protect individual rights, and any activity that does not violate another individual's rights should not be legislated. Period. Note also that no one has a right to not be annoyed or offended. Liberals would have you think that you do, but liberals would, as usual, be wrong.

One has to deal with the greatest threat. I guarantee you, that government's with too much power have harmed and killed far more people than all the tobacco ever smoked. Period. It seems to me that makes government the bigger threat.

Your post makes little if any sense. Would you care to elaborate?
Posting Lenard Skynard lyrics does little to substantiate your assertions. In fact, it underscores the paucity of them.
To: Sursum Corda
Look, it’s simple: a private property owner (such as a restauraunt owner) has the right to determine if smoking is allowed in his establishment or not. That’s a decision for him to make. It is not a decision for the government to make for him.
