This Week host pointed out how much money Edwards had taken from the trial attorneys and asked him to repeat what he said earlier on the campaign that no lobbyists would be in the White House if he was elected. Edwards final response was "There will be no lobbyists that have worked against MIDDLE CLASS Americans in my administration" but you had to listen closely for those two capitalized words. So trial attorney lobbyists WILL be in his White House because Edwards would never accuse them of working against MIDDLE CLASS Americans I would guess....or any lobbyists for that matter, right?
I really think Edwards has the best chance (pretty white male) with Obama as VP.
Yeah but it looks like there is big backlash against business as usual or something and these candidates are going to be casting about to figure out how to haul in the most fish.
We have to do the same thing if we want to win the election.
A Dem victory is not an option.
What a DEMOCRAT this guy is.
How about lobbyists who work to have the Boy Scouts kicked out of schools if they don’t kowtow to their demands? I think most middle class people would call that against their interests.
Somehow I don’t think Edwards will.

Instead, they get to be on top.
Should Republicans wish for the biggest hawk among Democrats to become their candidate (unsure which, perhaps Hillary), or the most easily defeated (unsure which)? It’s an important calculation. By being too tricky, we could wind up with the most spineless Democrat as president and seal our doom.
The Breck Girl isn’t going to have to worry about making those decisions.

They won’t be in the White House because he will build a separate building for them. That will be after he rewires the West Wing to hold the battery of hair-dressers that he would add to the staff.
