Good for her. (We are getting a car this week for my son.)
We also check his email and text messages.
Aren’t we bad.

The only critic is her son, who Hambleton says is "very, very unhappy" with the ad and claims the alcohol was left by a passenger. I think I tried that excuse with my dad once. His reply: "You can't snow the snowman." I didn't really get it, but my boys have heard that line more than once now.

I hope the little squirt comes to realize what a fine parent he has in his mom.

My five year old son calls us “the meanest parents ever” sometimes. I keep telling him that flattery won’t change us...

Does she realize the message she is conveying?
That there are CONSEQUENCES for your actions!!!
She has taken it upon herself to determine what is “right” and what is “wrong”!!!
Is this allowed in today’s culture???

“Meanest mom on planet.”
Sounds more like she is a “Mom” and not a “Best Friend”.
Too many parents are trying to be pals instead of parents. Good job mom!

Kids are still trying that excuse? lol. You would think that eventually people would realize that it does not work.
To: Mr. Brightside
Better to sell the car when it is still intact than after it has been wrapped around a telephone pole.
The son’s excuse that the alcohol was from a passenger does not relieve his responsibility. Frankly, having drunk passengers in the car means their son is doing things he ought not be doing.
That whole “designated driver” thing is for more mature people, certainly over 21. At 19, his job is to get himself and his sober friends where they are going safely.

After finding alcohol in her son's car, she decided to sell the car It's hard to find any gas that doesn't have that ethanol stuff in it.
What's the big deal?
