Anything is better than those mercury-filled seizure-causing light bulbs that liberals are pushing.

If they turn on as soon as you hit the switch...
If they are bright as soon as they come on rather than waiting for them to warm up...
If they don't have a "hum" when they are on...

Then I will gladly pay the higher price for them vs those spiral crap lightbulbs.

Light bulbs are so old school. Has there been a significant change in them in the last 60 years or so?

In a way, we all had to know this was coming eventually.

I can't even fathom the amount of electric power this could probably will save.

Already I'm seeing LED traffic control signs, tail-lights, etc.

I’m not giving up my kerosene lamp for nobody until they pry it from my dead, cold, lightless hands.....

I hate those flourescent bulbs. They make my AM radio buzz like crazy. It is the Left’s effort to jam Rush Limbaugh.

I can see their creepy inspectors going though my house with mercury detector equipment just so I can pass government regulations necessary to sell a house.

We have LED down lights in the eaves of our house. We have them only because the incandescent fixtures didn’t fit, but we would never know the difference. The under and over cabinet ones are useless, though. They are nothing but accent lighting.

I replaced my swimming pool light with a color changing LED bulb. It cost $$$ a few years ago but it should be working long after I’m a dead guy.

My reading chair is next to a WINDOW....granted I live in NY state and the sun isn’t shining all that much in the winter...but you cannot beat natural sunlight pouring into your house. At night I want mood lighting......not a landing zone for a 747. Why do they need to confuse me with all these options?
