“Speaking of dog, do you think Hucks fat boy killed one today.”

Killed and ate. In fact looking at his chubby dumpling son it may have been a “Three Dog Night”.

Yes, he attacked Huckabee, but it is McCain that is running away with things down here. I think Fred went after the wrong candidate.

It's definitely a complicated call, but I don't think so. It seems pretty clear from the polls that it's Thompson and Huckabee who are fighting over some of the same voters. McCain has an organization in SC, but still lost to Dubya in 2000.

The “kid” is an adult, who tortured a dog to death, and went to Daddy to get him out of legal trouble. Totally sleazy.

If MY kid did that, I would drag him down to the police station myself.

Don’t you feel a responsiblity to vote for the best conservative candidate?

I don’t understand Republicans who seem to want to vote for the candidate who they think others will vote for...according to the Media.

Your so right! There would NOT have been very many votes here for Reagan. They would be calling him a liberal too since he raised taxes time and time again as gov. http://www.nationalreview.com/nrof_bartlett/bartlett200310290853.asp How about Reagan's 1980 amnesty bill open borders? http://thereaganwing.wordpress.com/2007/05/19/the-u-s-senates-reward-lawbreakers-amnesty-bill-s-1348/ What if Huckabee had used the same type of words (seen below) that gov. Reagan used? How could the religious bigots found here NOT claim that Reagan would have made a good pastor but not a leader. Are they saying that candidates today must be godless or an atheist to run for president? Sounds like they've bought into the separation of church and state lie, secular only nation. Someone should have told the "Preacher" who was elected the 20th U.S. President James Garfield. That does NOT play well into their preacher/president equals theocracy fear mongering. http://www.conservative.org/pressroom/reagan/reagan1974.asp Governor Ronald Reagan (R-CA) Conservative Political Action Conference Washington, DC January 25, 1974 "We Will Be As a City upon a Hill" Standing on the tiny deck of the Arabella in 1630 off the Massachusetts coast, John Winthrop said, “We will be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us, so that if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword throughout the world.” Well, we have not dealt falsely with our God, even if He is temporarily suspended from the classroom. Ouch!!!

Fred employed the nuc-ler option last night. He pounded all the RINOs on the stage last night..especially Huckleberry Hound. I enjoyed the smack down...almost came out of my seat.

RE: "Hucky Cheese," school yards, and Name calling, etc.

I appreciate the compliment as to this being characteristic of things that remind you of "elementary school level, mob mentality, shouting and cussing "kids would use when ganging up on an unliked classmate," etc.

Thank you. I've been working on the kindergarten and sandbox sorts of entertainments that seem to work so well in the Basketball Tournament, color commentary school, method and atmosphere used in this ridiculous way we choose presidential nominees, and lowering myself to such things as are likely to amuse folks like yourself I will grade as a "good effort" after having provoked any kind of response at all.

Unfortunately, this being my first Mob, I just can't seem to bring myself to spitting, shoving, or showing anything other than respect for the Riot Police, for example.

That's a problem, of course, because, as you know, Republican's in Mass Movement remain characterized as almost universally polite.

The Democrats have no such governor on their behavior, but have been known to kiss one on the cheek while picking one's pocket and preparing to both stab one in the back and slit one's throat in a single motion.

I tried appealing to their better natures but, alas, they seem mysteriously to lack any better nature.

They just spit on me, and those among them who could talk shouted a kind of garbled quotation of Harry S Truman's in my general direction, with no eye contact of course, and without attribution, naturally, since they have no idea, being kindergartners, who President Truman might have been.

Beginning first by simply calling me "stupid," they then shouted "It's the kitchen,", spitting on me again, they continued, "it's the heat, get used to it."

Alas, I doubt I ever shall achieve such deliberate ignorance as appears necessary to repel war-hardened Republicans, let alone Democrats. But, I appreciated the complement nonetheless.

Fred pointed out the differences between him and Huckabee, which is entirely the point of these debates.

And he did it powerfully and articulately.

I agree. I expected better “communication” from Thompson, and have been very disappointed. Reagan dealt with the same MSM (well, worse, since we didn’t have the Internet media and Fox like we do today) and he got his message out.

Stop blaming the MSM for a candidate’s failure to succeed.

Huck is not a conservtive. I’m amazed social conservatives would back such a non financial conservative. If rev Sharpton was pro-life would social conservtives back him...or a pro-life Jesse Jackson?

That performance last night is the Fred I know so well. That is the Fred that put Michael Moore in his place and doesn’t mince words on the ACLU and other leftist organizations.
