You ask yourself if you will let them. Make sure this video gets out. Post it everywhere. I’m going to be putting together more clips of Fred. This was the best one by far.

Fred was awesome. From the tone of the post debate analysis, they are going to continue the mantra of “too late, too late”.. Utter hogwash!

That is because they are doing a stupid cell phone text poll.

I just realized that was the poll she was talking about. It must be official then! HA!

I’m listening to Huckabee’s smarmy attacks on Fred. What a jerk.

If this doesn't represent the anti-Huckabee hysteria on this site, I don't know what does. It was Thompson who attacked Huckabee, not the other way around. Fred Thompson (who I like by the way) didn't help his surly appearance by coming across as a bitter, mean-spirited attack dog. Further, this "blame America" thing made him come across like someone who has been taking lessons from the Clinton spin machine...where the truth is subordinated to winning at all costs. What a shame.

It never fails that the projected front runner..McCain in this case, comes into a debate and does everything he can do to not mess up during the debate which could cost him the state. When are these boys gonna learn you TURN UP THE HEAT when your ahead?

Thompson won..I hope he takes the state. Then he can get on a roll and DAG NABBIT turn up the heat! Dont let them catch you! Make them follow!

This is the Fred I thought we would see from Day one.

Too little too late...by about 12 years.

All Fred accomplished was to make himself look like a cranky old man with a grudge against Mike for beating him at the ballots. Very bad form.

Now, will the broadcast news ignore this, too?

Yes, they will.

It was the truth. He pointed out exactly what we all know and you would know also if you’d stop making excuses for a guy who claims to be a vertical candidate who is going to bring liberals and conservatives together. What kind of conservative wants to mix conservative ideas with liberal ones? That is what has hurt GWB so badly. He was good on the war and security and gave all form of olive branch to the liberals in increased spending and he doesn’t get credit for it.

It is time for a change. Huckabee is a good man but the wrong man for President. He would make a good pastor but not a good leader.

Let me put it this way: I don’t see Fred ever attacking McCain the way he did Huckabee tonight.

But Paul won the debate 35%.

Huh? Was that the poll on Ron Paul's campaign site?

And the moral of the story is...it looks like the Paul supporters are better at stacking a poll.

Further, this "blame America" thing made him come across like someone who has been taking lessons from the Clinton spin machine.

Huckabee's campaing chairman said the Reagan coalition is dead; with economic and defense consevatives. Thompson is reminding Southern conservatives that Huckabee is a populist , or at least thats what he says half the time.

If Thompson surges here, Huckabee is finished. I dont know that this will happen, but Im hoping.

Thompson, Romney, and Giuliani were all superstars!

Fred was terrific.

In my opinion, Romney was the best. I think he would make the best President.

But my first choice for the Republican nomination is Giuliani. He is the most sophticated politically. He's the best to defeat the Democrats--and that is the bottom line as far as I'm concerned. And he would be an excellent President.

Any of these three would be an excellent President or Vice President.

My first choice would be Giuliani for President, Thompson for Vice President.

I hate to say that, because I think Romney is the best man. But Giuliani and Thompson are first rate men and will be excellent in office, and they are the best ticket to defeat the Democrats.
