Giuliani's poll collapse appears to have helped both Romney and McCain pick up voters.

I guess I have to root for romney here. Maybe if he wins it hurts Huckabee and McCain in SC, and Fred gets it done there.

McCain will win. Democrats have nothing to vote for in their Primary since the DNC stripped MI of delegates. Hillary only one on ticket there. Dems will rush to vote for McCain. After all in a McCain-Obahma/Hillary/Edwards general election, Democrats know that whom ever wins, their political agenda will be advanced.
Best thing that could happen for Dems would be a McCain Administration. That way their political agenda would be advanced and the GOP would get all the political blame for the disastrous consequences of their agenda.

I don’t think these pollsters have a clue. They are too biased to even ask questions effectively.

POLLs-ution
POLLS everywhere and everytime are a real pollution of the primaries people can’t really interpret.
Areal question for me would be about the fundings of the poll companies

I am actually shocked at Fred’s number here. He has not polled over 4-5% in Michigan in any poll recently. For him to get 9% is a huge surprise — it probably means nothing other than he gets 4th instead of 5th, but it is a surprise none the less.

With a few to Huckaphony as well. Makes sense they would gravitate to the next most liberal candidates.

The Michigan primary allows for cross-party mischief. DemonRATs can walk in and vote for Republicans they think will be least electable. A vote for McCain will cripple the grassroots of the Republican Party. The grassroots Republican does not like McCain. He is too liberal. They will wave signs for the devil before they would wave signs for McCInsain.

In Michigan, Romney is viewed favorably by 71% of Likely Primary Voters. Mitt PING!
To: GOPGuide
Michigan, like New Hamshire and Iowa, is another liberal state that allows Dims to vote (or caucus) for Republicans.
Isn't is nice the way things have ended up after decades of manipulating voting laws and regulations: Liberals get to choose the Republican candidate.
Of course, the opposite is also true: Republicans can vote for Dims. And Independents can vote for anyone. But, it appears Republican voters don't have the nads to fight back.

Every day that passes I am more and more convinced that this race needs to be Thompson/Romney. Yes some say that Romeny is too liberal, but it is much better to find out as Vice President than President and then after 8 years, Romney would either show us or not show us that he is ready for the big chair. With every since part of my brain, I believe this is the right choice!!! If we ignore the obvious, we are going to be very disappointed on who we may end up with!!!
To: GOPGuide
Hopefully Romney can win in MI and stop the McCain “momentum” cold. Then Fred can finish the job in SC, and the race will be changed for good. I am doing all I can to convince Rudy funders to drop their commitments and give their cash to Fred instead, but they are saying he’s got to win SC. Can we do it?
To: GOPGuide
Forty-six percent (46%) say Huckabee would be at least somewhat likely to win in November, 33% say the same about Thompson, and 17% believe Paul would have a chance. It's hard to imagine that 17% of Michigan's likely primary voters actually believe Paul is electable. What a world.

This is frustrating. How have we, as a party, forgotten McCain’s constant treachery over the last decade? How is he so well-received? It boggles the mind that he even has a shot at the nomination.
Perversely, I’m rooting for Huckabee in SC, just to keep McCain tamped down. If McCain wins MI and SC, what’s that mean? And it will not have been on the basis of -conservative- support - he will have won -despite- conservatives. That will tear the party apart.

I can’t believe McCain is doing so well. He’s a good man but way way way too liberal and too cozy with enemy democrat combatants. No way he can be trusted; besides there’s that rumor about McCain and Huckabee making some secret agreement to hurt Romney which if true stinks.
Romney looks good for Michigan. Go, Mitt!!
To: GOPGuide
Rasmssun: Romney 26% McCain 25% Huckabee 17% The most liberal Governor in the history of the Republic, the enemy of the First Amendment, and Huey Long with an "R" by his name. Joy.
